  1. I have had times of regret too. So dont think your alone! Even though I can eat n drink fine, I still have doubts and regrets. Maybe your one of the people whos bodies take a bit longer to heal. Just try n keep ur head up through the hard times. I wish u the best!
  2. Im the opposite I feel hungry probably more than before surgery.
  3. hey girl! I'm with you in the weight loss. I've lost 16 lbs and it seems to keep going up and down the same 4-5 lbs. getting soooo frustrated! I'm sorry we are in the same boat but I'm glad I'm not the only one. Especially when you see how much others have lost in the first month. But I guess it's too late to turn back now! Yeah its very frustrating! But I guess this is what its suppose to be for now! I just hope it changes soon and we start dropping the pounds like everyone else!
  4. Come in all Nov sleevers and share your progress, updates, whatever! I was sleeved on Nov 4th. My ups are my pain only lasted a few days. Im able to eat and drink just fine. Sometimes I feel I can eat a lil too much. My downs at this point are I have lost 14 pounds since surgery. So share how its been for you so far!
  5. I am 24 days post op and have been stalled for 17 days. I lost 14 lbs the first week and then was done! I know everyone says be patient it will happen, dont let it get to you. But its the hardest thing especially when your newly post op. It does make you have regrets. I just hope to see some kind of change soon!!!
  6. I tried to get Plan B recently and the Dr would not give it to me because of my weight at that time somewhere around 225. But in years earlier they had offered it to me at even a higher weight. They offered another emergency contraceptive that I couldn't even get covered by my insurance so I was basically Shit out of luck.
  7. Where do you live? You said here on the west coast we don't have Golden Corral! But we actually do!
  8. As much as I love soda I will do all I can to not go back to it!
  9. I started the B complex a week afterwards and was ok with swallowing it. I use B-12 sublingual.
  10. I wore a sports bra afterwards.
  11. I didn't realize my children were not suppose to visit me until after I was out of the hospital. But all 3 of them did without the nurses or anyone saying anything. They are all under the age of 10. Maybe you can ask ahead of time.
  12. Congrats happy to hear you made it through fine. Keep us updated in the November forum if you can!
  13. I haven't felt anything like that so I have no idea what that might be. I hope someone can give you some feedback about it! Good luck it will get easier!
  14. I am now 17 days Post Op. I have been at a stall for 9 days. I am still trying not to get too discouraged over it. Overall I am doing well still. I feel good gas pains pretty much gone. Eating well, trying to get all those liquids in is a pain in the butt. For those with questions about the gas pains its pretty much time that makes them better. Like others have said walking, heating pad and some use gas x. But most of all its time, the days will get easier I promise. Keep us updated all The November sleevers, We want to hear everyone's progress whether good or bad!
  15. You look great! What was your starting weight?
  16. You know honestly I have not been able to get all my liquids in either. Its hard. So just know there's some of us out there who are having the same issue. I am 2 weeks out and hope I can get use to it eventually. Good luck on ur journey!
  17. It took me a year to decide on VSG. Ive known for 3 years I wanted to do some type of WLS but didnt have the money to do it. Well that was a blessing in disguise because then i would of got the lap band. And if you have done your research you have heard all the problems with that. Good luck on your journey what ever choice you make.
  18. I am almost 2 weeks out and since about 5 days out Ive been fine. I went back to work this last monday and was ok. I know everyone is different. I know before i had my surgery I thought I would be so weak and not be able to so anything for myself, but everything worked out fine. Good luck on everything!
  19. I am 10 days post op as of today. I have lost 13 pounds since surgery, been on a stall for 3 days. Im ok with that though, I know when my body is ready I will keep on losing. I feel pretty good, hardest part for me i would say is the pre-op diet. But all of you who are barely at that point will make it through fine and soon we all will be sleevers! Good luck to you all!!!
  20. Kuyon now why didn't I think of that? I used that exact thing with my kids when they had gas pains as babies. Thx for the reminder!
  21. I'm very sorry to hear your having these complications. You are in my prayers that things get better for you!!!
  22. Good luck on your surgery and recovery!
  23. Congrats on your pregnancy and your weight loss!
