  1. Im 5 weeks post op. I stalled after week one, for 3 weeks. I don't know why, but once i started making water and protein a priority the stall broke. I freaked out too. Try and relax and know that everyone's body is different and obviously have stalls at different times. Im back on track at this point and know there will be more stalls ahead of me. Good luck you will be ok!

  3. Remember I was on a stall for 3 weeks out of 4. just broke my stall. IT WILL HAPPEN! I was down and disappointed through it. But the weight loss is going to happen again. Keep ur head up girl!
  4. I know stalls are hard I had one for 3 weeks. Now that was hard but you have to keep in mind it will pass. U have lost a good amount so far and it will continue.
  5. UPDATE: I'm excited to say I'm now under 200 pounds. 199.8 to be exact!!! When I first started this journey In Jan of this year I weighed 251. I would of never thought I would be under 200 again, and I know I wouldn't have been if it wasn't for the sleeve. I am very happy and doing well. Almost 5 weeks post op. 21 pounds lost since surgery!
  6. Yup alot of us have gone through it. I was stalled for 3 weeks out of 4 and just started to lose weight again. It will start up again. Just be patient.
  7. Im 4 weeks post op and still have trouble getting all my water in. But Im doing what I can and Im doing good with what im getting in. Just remember its going to take time to get all those fluids down with no issue. Dont stress over it!
  8. It is normal and it will get easier! Especially once your on soft foods. You will be fine! Good luck!
  9. Ok so I have a update! I was on a stall for 3 weeks. Today im 4 weeks post op and down another 5 pounds. So a total of 18 down since surgery and 27 pounds since 2 week pre op! Im excited, that Im out of the stall for now!
  10. Weird thing is my back has been hurting too and it rarley did before surgery!
  11. WOW! have you talked to your dr? When i asked my nurse coordinator about it she asked me if I was getting all my water and protein! I said No! Its hard especially the water. Yeah it does sound like your doing everything! Just keep ur head up, I know its hard to do. But you cant let this get you down! Are you taking measurments of yourself? I have since day one and even though I dont see a diiference in the scale I do in the inches.

  15. well today I started with a Protein shake, then some coffee. Around noon I had some shredded up chicken and for a snack a sugar free hot chocolate. Waiting on hubby to bring me some Beans n cheese. Yummy! I need to get some of that SF hot chocalate ... Oh and some beans and cheese too:) Those r yummy! I think it was you who told me about it at first!

  17. Yup! Same here! Sleeved Nov 4Th and down 15 lbs from surgery date 34 lbs total from pre-op diet. I think I hit the" three week platue" didn't loss anything this last week till today, 2 lbs. I know exactly how you both feel. Well good luck on the month of December. What are you eating at this point? Need some ideas!
  18. Since 2 week pre op I weighed 229. That was 6 weeks ago today I am at 207.
  19. Happening to me as we talk. I have been on a stall for 19 days. Was sleeved 27 days ago. Its very dissapointing but It is what it is! And I cant let it keep me down!
  20. Im not sure if its the same when you have alot. But I had a few and went to my primary dr and she put something on it and it came right off. I dont remember what it was that she used though. But it didnt hurt and it was quick.
  21. I have seen so many different time frames for stalls. So not sure theres a specific amount of time. Just depends on each person!
