Pros Is there a 4 month stall?
I find I stall for 2-3 weeks, lose for 1-2, stall again. It's irritating, but I'm still losing mad weight and the inches are moving the whole time. Your body needs time to adjust to all the changes. I'm at 8 months out and I find stalls to be 100% normal.

Over 300 pounds, when did you notice a difference?
I was close to your starting weight, HW 330, surgery weight 308, 6 months out I was 225. I am thrilled to have lost 100lbs finally! I've been a slow loser and have really struggled with body dystrophic. I still wore the same clothes until my fiancé had an intervention and made me toss the old ones. I think looking at before and afters (or during) is key. Also, flying on a plane after losing weight was crazy for me. Trying on old special event clothes (party dress) was a big wake up call to me. Taking measurements helps! It's a process! I still sometimes forget that I'm not as big as I once was!

alcohol
I would avoid it! It's major surgery involving all your organs and poisoning them with alcohol is probably not a good idea. Tempting I know! A margarita in Mexico?! I wish!

Question
Piece of chocolate, granola, it depends on what I'm craving! I have a very different approach to eating than most on this sight. I do not avoid anything. I eat all things in moderation, as long as they are organic/gmo free (for the most part. If I eat out I don't ask about ingredients as much, but I only eat out at nice, typically local organic restaurants)

Before and after pictures please!
I'm 5'4' and had a HW of 330, day of surgery was 308 and today I am 225 (7 months) I have been a SLOW loser on the scale but have had so many non scale victories that it doesn't bother me too much! The 4 side by sides are almost a month old, I've lost weight since then. The single picture is me at my bachelorette party this weekend.
