  5. Just wanted to check in with everyone. I am feeling better than ever. I am down 52 lbs and being very active. I am eating small portions and cleaner than ever. This surgery was definitely a life saver. Anyone that is struggling, hang in there. Remember that this too shall pass. Best wishes to you all.

  8. It has been a full week since surgery. I should be happy but I am feeling bad today. I know it's mostly mental. I'm feeling like nothing in my body works the way it used to. I feel weak from not being able to get enough down. I feel depressed. Does anybody else feel this way? I feel a little crazy today.
  9. Rene that is so inspiring to me. My heaviest weight was 351. I just had my sleeve on may 24. I am now at 337. I did not lose as much as you pre-surgery. I would really like to stay in touch with you. How old are you? I'm 30 and from Florida. Tomorrow will be 1 week for me. I am starting to feel better, but would really like to be reassured that things will be much better soon. I feel like I am missing out on life right now...
  10. Thanks for your input. My doc has said being as active as you can leads to a quicker recovery.
  11. I really didn't have much queasy - ness.... I think it's different for everyone.
  12. I guess I was hoping to go 2mi. I have no idea what realistic is, I guess.
  13. Today is my 6th day post sleeve. I was able to walk a mile and a half on an outdoor track this evening. I feel so lame. How is your activity level going?
  14. Hey Kendra! I am happy to answer any questions that I can. I know that there is a lot of anxiety pre-surgery. Just know that it is all worth it in the end.
  15. How do I find this group? I'd really like to join. Thanks for the info.
  16. Just know that there will be pain. But there will also be good pain meds. It's nothing that you can't handle. The worst part for me was before surgery in pre-op. I was having an anxiety attack and they couldn't get an IV going. My pre-surgery liquid diet had left me dehydrated and veins collapsing.
