  1. Wow! Lots of changes already for you! We were sleeved the same day! Congrats!
  2. I've been getting my 64oz in since the beginning. I start sipping as soon as I wake up and stop about an hour before bed. I typically get 72-80 oz a day.
  3. Terrific! You're doing great! Keep doing what you're doing and it's only gonna get better.
  4. Have you spoken with your surgeon and NUT? Also, are you logging a food diary? You may be able to go back through that to see if anything changed. I could help your NUT too to see what you're doing and try to help. It may just be a long stall too.
  5. All of you look terrific! Awesome job!
  6. Give it time. Just a small hurdle on the long journey. You'll get there and kick some butt!
  7. It's too shall pass. It is only a small hiccup and you're doing so great. The doc will fix you up and you'll keep doing great!
  8. San Antonio - sleeved June 11, 2013
  9. Hard to say if I had pain cuz I did have the onq pain ball. It was pulled when I left the hospital. Didn't hurt, was just a little startling. Lol No pain at all though, and filled my pain meds but haven't used them.
  10. Seems counterintuitive. You have a permanent restriction on your stomach that while it may happen, you would have to work to gain it ALL back. Lap band just needs to not have fills and you can end up like people I know. Plus I know far more people with muffin tops and slipped bands who lost very little, than issues with the sleeve.
  11. I'm doing the danon light n fit. Higher Protein count than some of the others and with the fruit mixed its pretty good. This was the preferred choice of my surgeon's office too.
  12. I brought my iPad, cuz I had no pain so no pain meds so I was awake except for day 1. Not a bad idea to bring something just in case or have it ready for someone to bring for you. CHAP STICK is probably most important! Let me repeat that! CHAP STICK is probably most important! If you are NPO you will be dying of dry lips. I didn't believe it til I felt it. Good luck!
  13. Best of luck to both of you. And to all being sleeved today!
  14. This isn't going to be an easy road after surgery. Congrats on kicking butt!
