  1. I had my sleeve April 1, and lost 50 pounds that month. Naturally I was excited, but now the next two months I haven't lost an ounce! I know stalls are normal, but I don't think I have heard of one that lasted this long. I'm really starting to think that I am never going to lose weight!

  5. Well, I was very confident before surgery that this was the right thing to do, and everything was great and didn't worry at all. Then they set the surgery date and everything changed for me mentally. Dealing with your own morality isn't a pleasant feeling. Fortunately dr sonnastine talked me off the ledge a little bit. Once I woke up from surgery, all was good again.
  6. I wenth with Thomas Sonnastien at Riverside for mine. Thought he was an awesome doctor, fantatic bedside manor. I had a few complications after the surgery that werent necessarily related to the sleeve, so i had a pretty long recovery time (Gout, infections, etc) I lost about 50 pounds from the first until the last day of april. after that i actually put a pound back on. not sure how that happened since i cant be taking in more than 500 calories a day. Oh well. Still have mild nausea and i can only eat a few bites at the most. How is your progress going? when was your surgery.

  8. I got my sleeve 4/1/13. Live in Lewis center.
  9. My surgeon (Thomas sonnastine in Columbus) said he though both were just fine for me. I am 5'10 and sighed about 340 at the time at the time of the conversation. He said he would push me for the RNY if I weighed a hundred pounds more or had diabetes but was very comfortable with me getting the sleeve.
  10. Had mine on April 1. Still in recovery mode
