if I read about another stall Imma pull my hair out!
Omgsh, I soooooooooooooooooooo agree w u. Ive yet to b sleeved, still hoop jumpn, but from what I read, it has frustrated me reading about it too. One thing I've learned from reading here is to expect it and feel that if I do, as uve stated, it'll pass, its not a race but a lifestyle change. But altho Ive read it more than once, people r still freaking out. And I feel that if I stay the proper course, I will have a lifetime to get to whatever goal is set. I appreciate u posting this bc I've wanted to say somthn but felt that since I'm not sleeved, people wud judge. So Ty and I do pray that all will continue to b successful bc now, u have been givn more time on your lives to get and remain healthy. Now w that said, if after I have my surgery, I post about a stall, pahleaze quote me nd ur welcome to give me a swift cyber kick n the newly slimmed bum;). Cyber love, Dee Dee

- Would You Have Weight Loss Surgery Again?
Hi all nd gratz thus far!! I'm still in the jumpn thru hoop stage, but I've read so much on these forums nd researched my heart out, I'm so rdy to finish the preops that I can taste it! As spongebob wud say, " im rdy I'm rdy"! Yes, I'm rdy. Ik from what I've read it'll be a few ruff patches but wo the wls, I'd still have ruff patches called, high bp, cholesterol, vitamin def, bad joints, and vtach!! At least from what doc, research nd you all have said, the wls will help if not alleviate my issues, so just bc I've not had the surgery yet, I'd still b considering it nd hoop jumpn! Gl u all:))- replacement hamburger helper!

Sry misclicked while reading- Pre Operative Imaging
I agree w the above poster. I am preop as well, thus far I've had done or am scheduled for...lab work, ekg, xray of chest, first docs visit...all done. Now scheduled, psych eval, nut consult, egd and once that's done, I'm told second doc visit to discuss 2 week diet, then 3rd visit for date. And postop, guess I'll deal w that then. Did u do the wls seminar? If not, write down ur questions so they can answer them w certainty. The doc said, titanium staples so the body won't reject as well as can not be detected at airports or mess up future xrays cuz I questioned him on that. He too said the staple line is strengthened by enuff staples as well as sewing over that line, altho he said the staple line is sufficient alone. Only one doc in their practice uses the sew method too. Hope we helped. But def go to a seminar, altho some find it boring, I found it informative nd interesting, esp since a huge piece of me will b forever gone. Oh nd he said the cutout tummy wud be sent to pathology nvr to b seen again! God Bless Your journey:). Dee Dee- WTF is going on?

I'm not sleeved yet but shud lose weight w all the hoops I'm jumpn thru but newhoo, when I was yo yo dieting, I use to weigh every day too. So I asked my hubby to hide the scales until that one day of the week I had to weigh, nd no matter how much I threaten him, lol, to not get them out until the following week! It helped tremendously. Lord willing nd I get sleeved finally, he'll have to do it again bc will power when it comes to the scales is my biggest enemy. So if u have som1 to hide them for u, then recruit them now. Gl:)- Onederland! YEA
Ty nd congrats to u all!! I can't wait until I'm sleeved nd on the losers winning bench:)- Meltdown
