  1. Many prayers going up for u dear Andrew. I pray that You'll b just fine...let us know how u are when ur able. We are w u:) God bless.
  2. Hello all, not sure if I did this right but here it goes: to all of tomorrow's preops, gl and God Bless u for a successful n easy surgery and recovery. C u on the losers bench and keep us posted as soon as u can.
  3. Awesome. Do u have any pics ud like to share, plz? And what are was ur stats? Thx
  4. Awwwwesome progress in such a short time and yes ma'am, what an amazing difference. Lookin good:) keep up the good work!
  5. Good for you LSL! UK how to tell a story, I was so into it that by the time I finished reading it, I was smiling BIG but wanting more, LOL! Congrats Sister!
  6. U look amazing, congrats! Lotta progress in 3 mths, job well done:)
  7. My doc told me yesterday that it'd b about the second week postop, so don't worry over it until time.
  8. Woohoo, over n done with, bravo!! Thank God ur doing so well, yea. UK the drill, so take it easy and take ur place on the losers bench! Gl.
  9. Awesome suggestions! Just to chime in, u say u don't like making people feel bad but yet ur a person and ur allowing her to make u feel bad and that's not fair to u. You've more than answered her, so enuffs enuffs. Without being rude but firm, look at her w a slight one sided grin and just say, I've answered you more than once about this and now its time for US to move on. Make it about the both of u, its a deflection tactic in disguise...this is OUR workplace and let US keep it that way. If I c u in the gym, we can discuss gym and health matters but this is difficult enuff for me to try and do, as most diets are, and I don't want to have to constantly think about it everywhere I go. Then say, U do understand right? Say thanks Then YOU politely walk off:) Then like the other person suggests, write down specifics of her harassment, and if it doesn't stop, talk to HR bc u will know that u did all u cud to give her a chance to stop. Ur not friends anyways so reporting her shouldnt be an issue once uve TOLD HER AND ASKED HER DOES SHE UNDERSTAND! It's like a child, are we there yet, are we there yet, and until ur there, it won't stop. So now, you have to get there! Gl:)
  10. Welcome to the losers bench and congrats. So sry to hear of the additional cutting that u had to have done. It's amazn how a lot of people have to have one repaired during this surgery, hmmm. My surgeon mentioned it to me today as a possibility. In any case, take it easy, don't rush home if u don't have too and God bless ur recovery. Thx for checking in
  11. Amen Familyguy. I'm presleeve n I'm not sharing it either so I feel as u do. And to the ones who r frustrated, as he stated, the weight will come off, has too. And I've read vet forums about it happening. I'm sure its frustrating but stress can make our weight not move or even go up in traditional dieting. So don't get down over it, and don't compare ur loss w others bc our bodies are going to react differently to this same procedure that we all share or will share. So chin up and just keep doing what ur doing, n increase the fluid, they even say that on traditional diets bc it helps flush the body. Since u started at a lower BMI, u may just b a slw loser. There is a thread titled slow losers come in, somthn like that, look it up n c if u fall in that category, esp, if u say ur docs don't understand. Gl, I wish u all the best:). U can/will succeed.
  12. Hey yall. Today was my preop visit for my 2 wk liq on monday. My doc said to me, "don't go off on what ive heard patients call their 'last supper' binging." He stated that I shud use this time, if I haven't alrdy, to prepare for the two weeks n then my lifetime. He said its not good to binge like that, not for the liver or the body, esp if u have comorbs. I said I wasn't planning on doing that but I was going to have Chinese food, once. And the more he talked about it the more I thot about doing it but like some of u stated, I'm kinda over it all bc of the thanksgiving food I had. I really am just rdy to start. So in a nutshell, its normal imho. What's not normal is how people can eat a last meal knowing they are going to be executed...death row. I'd b puking all night scared. Yeah, off topic, Ik, but just another of my random thots, squirrel! Lol. Gl all.
  13. Hey, look up the title: "packing for the hosp?". There is a link to click which has pretty much everything u may need. Look it up, I did and was able to add a few things that id forgotten. Lmk if u can't find it so that I will make a list here. Gl:)
  14. Many prayers Sleevinit! Get some rest tonight and get rdy for the losers bench tomorrow. God bless for a successful day:)

  17. Whelp, had my preop today, glad its ovr bc I'd gained a few holiday lbs:( he mentioned it but wasnt upset, just said, no last supper eating, bc its not a good idea and so forth. Lord willing, I start my 2 wk liq on Monday, and surgery on 30th, second case of the day they said. So I'm glad for that. To all postops, gr8j n may ur healing b blessed. Gl to us all and Monday, here I come, I feel rdy:)
