  1. I was sleeved on the 22nd. I cried almost everyday for two weeks before, and cried until I was taken back to the or. It's scary. My surgeon called me the night before and told me if I wasn't nervous that wouldn't be normal. It's a huge leap. I am five days post op and I keep sitting here saying "wow I did this." Everything will be okay. I was so scared, angry, and I even thought about not going through with it it's only been the five days, but I've already lost 10 lbs, and I'm super proud of myself.
  2. I was just sleeved on the 22nd (5 days post op) so I still have no desire to eat and I'm still on my full liquid diet. However, I will say they made the first good smelling thing today, which was a banana bread. Normally I would hate banana cake but today it looked good. Again, I'm not hungry and food seems gross, but I am already sick of juices, water, decaf tea, broths, and jello.
  3. Congrats!! No longer being obese on the BMW scale is huge!! I can't wait for that to happen. Hope you feel better soon!
  4. Yeah, I know a lot factor into it. I have hope that I won't have too much skin. I know I will have to have my boobs fixed because I have problems with my breast anyways. I am happy to get my weight under control young, but I fear that because if my age I have a long time to fall back unto old habits. Does anyone else have this fear?
  5. Hello, I was just sleeved on may 22nd. I am 22 years old and would love to connect with other young people getting surgery. Also, have you hearsay research on less chance of extra skin, because of elasticity in skin?
