Hi, my name is Joyce. Today I received a denial :think from Medicare (NJ). This denial was from the hearing judge. I have also started another appeal process. Part of the problem is my age 41. The judge feels that I can sit for six hours and stand for two. I can't stand for more then 15min, I can sit for anout 10 and then my back locks up. Working as a secretary. I have 3 herniated disks, very bad veins that bleed just from touching them. must wear open shows or foot swells up, arthritis throughout my body, two knee surgeries on the left and one on the right, high blood pressure. oh, wait I forgot I am 5'7 1/2 and 377. Anyone been through this that can help me out.:help: Thanks Joyce

This has nothing to do with weight but with height. When I was last measured (in the 8th gr for cap & gown) I was 5'8 3/4. When I went to the hosp yesterday for testing she said I was 5'7 1/2. Can this be? I want to lose inches, but not this way.

Starting the week after Thanksgiving all the restaurants put up a "MONEY TREE" thier idea of a Christmas tree. Everybody who works there will show you the tree, and ask you if you have a tip to put on it. There is one place I go to for coffee everyday, and they will ask everyday. They don't want dollars, just tens or twentys. This year they were doing sooo much begging that they left it up two weeks into January. I never give money for the tree.

The reason for the bypass is that I will lose weight faster.

Hi everyone, i just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Joyce and I live in Newark, New Jersey. I have had my consult and to the seminar. Plan on going to seminar again. The Dr. feels that the bypass would be better then the band. I am not afraid to have surgery. Surgery date is Sept 20. But, what do you think. Dr. is Karl Strom from Mountainside Hospital in Montclair. Thank You for the help.

I know what you mean. I have a friend of 14 years, I told her I was going to do this she said what for. Oh, I don't konw because my weight is 377. She was supposed to go to the seminar with me and never showed and has not called me in two weeks. We talk nearly every day. Guess I will see what happens.

I Went On Strike Once For 1 Week, Just Took Care Of Myself And Our Daughter. That Saturday Her And I Got Up Early Left The House At 9am Didn't Come Till 6pm. The House Was Spotless And Dinner Was Waiting For Us.
