  5. Here's my dilemma: I am my sister's Maid Of Honor and I planned her bachelorette party- which is a weekend away on the East end of Long Island's Wine country. I will be one month post op at the time of the trip. I would hate to go on a vine tour and not be able to at least SIP a tiny bit of wine at the tastings. Unless its harmful to me. Any advice?
  6. Hi! Yes, I went through the same thing... And I am still going through it. I am three weeks out and still in a stall. I was told that it is very normal in the beginning to stall early on as your body is still healing. It is more important to get in your protein at this point. I still struggle to get in enough water but My Nutritionist said to make sure to get in my protein above anything else... Then water. I'm currently only getting in 30-35 ounces of water, but I'm trying! Good luck!
  7. Is it normal that I'm 2 weeks post op and still on a stage 2 diet but I've actually gained 3 pounds?
  8. And I didn't mean to spell discouraged wrong! Lol
  9. I'm 2 weeks post-op and I haven't lost in a week! I m getting all my protein in and hitting the gym 3xs a week. The only problem I'm having is consuming enough ounces of water per day. Am I doing something wrong? I'm so frustrated.
  10. I was sleeved on 7/26 Sw 285 Date of surgery 278 Cw 261 My loss is slow but steady. One more week of Stage 2 full liquids. Ughhh
  11. Wow, you've all been so helpful! I'm glad I'm not the only one going through this or who has gone through this. Thanks for all the support! I will try not to check the scale everyday and get discouraged if nothing changes. I will continue to get all my protein and fluids in and hope for the best! Thanks so much, everyone!
  12. I haven't lost any weight in 2 days and I only had my surgery 9 days ago. Is this normal? Did I already hit a stall? I'm only on a stage 2 diet. Should I start regular exercise again? Should I be doing anything different? I'm nervous that Im stalling ALREADY!
  13. Keep up the great work! You look amazing!!!
  14. Oh, that's so exciting for you! I know I'm only a week out, but I have no regrets AT ALL. Best of luck on Monday and the rest of the days to come. Stay focused, you'll do great!
  15. Today marks my one week surgeversary and I have lost 14 pounds! I feel great.
  16. Thank you! I'm feeling so much better today. I don't even need my pain meds anymore... and I've lost 10 lbs since surgery! Hope all is well with you!
  17. I'm 3 days out and I don't need to take my pain meds anymore. Everyone's tolerance is different. If you need it, take it.
  18. Sleeved on July 26th. 3 days post op. each day its getting easier. Gas pains are subsiding and I'm gaining some energy back. Was able to have a protein shake for breakfast and 4oz of broth with 8oz of isopure for lunch! I'm losing about 2lbs a day since surgery! I'm sure that'll slow down but I'm hoping the steady weight loss continues! Tuesday I go for my follow up visit- I hope I can move on to stage 2 by then. best of luck fellow sleevers!
  19. Thank you so much! That is very sweet of you. I appreciate it.
