  1. I live in AZ and my time NEVER CHANGES. It's a good thing because I would never remember to change the clocks and would be late for work or a hour early. So do you lose sleep tomorrow or sleep in? Oh lord I'm glad I don't have to do this.
  2. When I drink carbonated drinks IT HURTS! so I don't at all. Dr. said no Tummy said no so I say no more.
  3. Hi Bravo, At my 1st meeting there was a large group of us there and there were several different Dr's. They just told us all about the lap-band and the pro's and con's of Lap-Band surgery. There were far more pro's than con's. They also told us what could go wrong and what is required to have the surgery. Just make sure you have all the diets you have ever been on written down and how much weight you lost with each one. They told us the difference between Lap-Band and GB. There were also several people there that had the surgery and were telling us about their journey.. We then got to ask any questions we had. It was great because I learned so much more than I already knew. I was misdiagnosed with MS several years ago but since then I have been diagnosed with H.S.P. (hereditary spastic paraplegia) I was never on any medications for the MS. I had my surgery in Nov. 04 and my mobility has improved greatly. I walk with crutches or a walker and have for 10 years. But just this last week I took 4 steps without the aide of a walking device! This surgery is not a cure for us but it will help us greatly. Good Luck and Welcome to LBT.
  4. Good one Jenna!! I even told my Mother about it and she said that she saw on the AZ. news today that several AZ people Won the Power Ball, so I TOTALLY believed you.
  5. I shop at Lane Bryant or Roamens (online) because they always show the lenght of the shirts. I like LOOOOONG shirts to cover up.. The only thing I don't like about them is that allll the models are skinny and the clothes all look great on them. It is a plus size store so why not have plus size models. I have talked to them and so have a few of my friends but who's gunna listen to me?
  6. I did not have a good day today either. I stopped on the way home from work at Jack-in-the-box and had a large, YES A LARGE, oreo cookie shake. I didn't eat it all but that was because I droped it off of my walker when I got home. But I did save over half of it and it was sooooooooooooooooooo good!! It splashed all over my dinning room. so the clean up was like exercise Right? Oh Alex, tomorrow is going to be a better day for us both.
  7. CONGRATULATIONS!!! Welcome to Bandland!!! Rest up but Walk, Walk, Walk.
  8. It is Very normal to be hungry 9 days post op. I did not feel any restriction until after my 2nd fill and then it was only for a short time. I am going to go and have a 3rd. fill some time in April. I have heard of many people that have had to have 3 or 4 fills before they feel restriction. I do eat less and I am loosing weight but I feel I need more. I can eat WAY TOOOOOO much. Good luck and don't get discouraged it will all work out.
  9. OH I think first I would have to plan my funeral because I would die of a heart attack!! Where to start? lets see, first I would handicap my home, Then buy a RV and a driver and see the country. OK I think I already overspent. Thats my life..

  13. Hey everyone guess what? I took 4 steps today without the aid of my crutches or my walker!!! Whoooo Hoooooo!!!! Because of my spinal disease (H.S.P.) I have not walked without the aide of some kind of walking device for 10 years. And today because of the weight loss and exercise I am walking! 20. I am in need of a little fill and don't really want to take a day off of work and drive for 3 hours to get it. There is a woman 20 min. away from me that does them for $75. I only want about .2 or .3 cc's. I wouldn't tell my surgeon about it in fear that he would drop me as a paitent. What would you do?
  21. I'm with Katie, I love Unjury! With a cup of milk it has 29 grams of protein. It has a wonderful taste. not gritty like alot of them and it is very easy to mix. I just shake it up and go! unjury.com They have a lot of receipes on their site also and they also sell samples so you can try it without buying a lot. Good luck.

  25. Priceless Jack wakes up at home with a huge hangover he can't believe. He forces himself to open his eyes, and the first thing he sees is a couple of aspirins next to a glass of Water on the side table. next to them, a single red rose! Jack sits up and sees his clothing in front of him all clean and pressed. Jack looks around the room and sees that it is in perfect order, spotlessly clean. So is the rest of the house. He takes the aspirins, cringes when he sees a huge black eye staring back at him in the bathroom mirror and notices a note on the table. "Honey, Breakfast is on the stove, I left early to go shopping, Love you." He stumbles to the kitchen and sure enough there is hot breakfast and the morning paper. His son is also at the table eating. Jack asks, "Son.. What happened last night?" "Well, you came home after 3 am drunk and out of your mind. You broke some furniture, puked in the hallway and got that black eye when you ran into the door." "So why is everything in such perfect order, so clean, I have a rose and breakfast is on the table waiting for me?" His son replies, "OH THAT! Mom drug you to the bedroom and when she tried to take your pants off, you screamed, "Leave me alone lady, I'm Married!" Broken furniture-$85.26 Hot breakfast-$4.20 Red rose bud-$3.00 Two aspirins-$.38 Saying the right thing, at the right time........PRICELESS.
