We are having a heat wave!!! It was 11 degrees this morning!! And the high today was in the low 40's. I wish it would snow, at least it would warm up a little.

When I left for work this am it was 5 degrees out. brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! I know it has been down to below 0 before but I DON'T LIKE IT!!!( I live in the White Mountains of AZ.) Speaking of cold, do you feel the cold more now that you are losing weight? I was always called the "ice woman" by my family because I was NEVER cold. Now I am cold all the time!!! I NEVER wear shoes when I am home. no shoes or socks or slippers. I have even been known to shovel snow in bare feet before ( i know, stupid) I think I am losing my insulation! Before I moved into my new house I use to live in a 100+ house with terrible insulation. My dogs Water use to freeze overnight (in my room) Not a real hard freeze but ice on top. The only heat we had was a fire place that went out and I didn't get up and put another log on it. Well I would sleep just fine every night, not cold at all. Now I have a heater that runs all night and I am still cold. Go figure. Keep warm everyone!!

Ok you got me there??????? I am not sure the names or numbers of roads or interstates. But when I go there I usually am going to Chandler Heights so I go through Payson to Ellsworth. Does that help? I HATE TAKING THE SALT RIVER CANION!

If you are curious about last years bash just go to "search" and type in VEGAS BASH--PICTURES. you will see how much fun we had!! food and games and We also have a clothing exchange while we are there. What great fun it was! It is "tentatively" scheduled for the last weekend in August. As for the place to eat in Jan. Just please make sure it is easy access because I am disabled and walk with crutches. Also easy access for driving because I am a country bumbkin and don't like your traffic down there!

Hey all you AZ Bandsters lets go to the Vegas Bash next summer together. If we all pool in together it wont cost too much! I went to last years and it was a BLAST! Lisa(DeLarla) is a FANTASTIC HOST! What do ya say????

When I had to put my beautiful Friend Cuddles to sleep last year the Vets office sent me a card with "The Rainbow Bridge" on it. I have kept it and always will. They let me know that I made the right decission no matter how HARD it was. I had him for 15 wonderful years. My sweet doggie baby.

Ann, First off Welcome to LBT! I think everyone is scared they will fail. We are all human right? I am a year out and still am scared. I have to tell myself everyday that this tool will work for me and I will not fail. I will not fail. I will not fail. I was down on myself on my Bandiversary because i only lost 70lbs. but everyone here kicked me in the Butt and told me I was doing the band the right way and right on track with the weight loss. Hi Keli, welcome to Bandland and LBT!! You probably wont feel a difference until you have a fill or 2! It took my 6 fills to get to my sweet spot. I have the Vanguard 10cc band. Good luck!

Oh Lisa I am sitting here crying my eyes out for you and Kitty Milo. He was such a special cat and I loved meeting him in September. Just think He is up there in Heaven watching over you and eating ALL The tuna he can. I am so sorry Lisa.

??????????????????????????????????????????????????????? I don't understand why Medicare wont cover Lap-Band now when they DID COVER IT in November 2004. At least they did for me. I had no trouble at all and they paid the 80% they usually do. I was 294 at time of surgery and had High bp. Other than my spinal disorder I had no other health problems. Why then and not now? ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????
