well I told my parents..didn't go well
My mother only knew because she got my mail one day and obviously looked through it, just like everybody else she didn't think I needed to go to this extreme. I didn't tell my dad until a week before hand and surprisingly he said well if that's what you wanna do I will support you. They both now see how much happier I am 99.5 lighter (100 is taking awhile lol) ! Do this for yourself, there are plenty forms if support out there to help you !

OK ..,
Oh course ! All things are going to weigh on your mind. What if, what did I do, did I do the right thing, will I ever be able to eat "normal" again, what if I don't wake up, blood clots? You name it , it went though my mind, personally I feel this app is great it gives you the ins and out on everything good and bad ! Please educate yourself besides using this site. Maybe attend support groups prior to your surgery. This is the best thing I've ever done for myself. Good luck to you on your journey !

compression shorts/capris
Try one of them exercise belts, I think there called a waist trimmer. I got mine at Walmart in the exercise equipment isle. My only suggestion is wear it over a tank top and wear another shirt on top of that, so no one sees it, you will sweat pretty good with it on and it holds your "belly" in place ! It will take some getting used too but it helps! Good luck with your running !

Had Gastric Sleeve December 9, 2013 and I am still very sick
I have to agree with Madam Reverie definately get answers. But I also should say 86 pounds in 5 1/2 months is doable not knowing her starting weight and how much she has lost prior to surgery. I wish you the best of luck and pray you get the answers you need!!

Long term physical considerations
I also developed drop foot from impinged nerves behind my right knee due to WL. Better now. Glad to hear !!! I was nervous about it, to think I lost all this weight and can't enjoy myself without tripping every where

Long term physical considerations
After losing 80#'s my body "shifted" causing me to have a pinched nerve in my back which in return gave me a drop foot. I also went to the chiropractor and literally was stretched on a table a couple days a week. I was unable to exercise, try walking on a treadmill with a drop foot lol not fun at all ! 100% better now but wow I can't believe losing weight does this. My mother also stated I walk funny and I hunch over.
