  1. Thanks ladies you helped ease a lot of concern. I originally started at 400 as well, it's great to see you all doing so good. Can't wait until I'm losing fifty plus.... Dstined4gr8tnes
  2. Thanks so much. I sure will. I was starting to get worried. Dstined4gr8tnes
  3. Franklin square with dr. You. That's awesome we are so close. Are you excited? Did you have to do classes? Dstined4gr8tnes

  5. I notice that must sleeves are in the high 200's but is there anyone who started higher. My weight day off was 362 give or take a pound....my doctor told me the most common procedure for my weight was the bypass but the long term results are very much the same. Im 5'7" but I definitely strated off way bigger than some posts I see...just curious to know I'd I'm alone lol Dstined4gr8tnes
  6. Baltimore county although I am considering moving to harford. June it's right around the corner I'm excited for you. Where are you? Dstined4gr8tnes
  7. Hi all, looking for people in the area interested out who have experienced the sleeve. I'm four days post opt and super excited, would love to meet people who are experiencing similar things as a mini support system. Both give and receive support of course. Talk to you soon Dstined4gr8tnes
  8. Is anyone from Maryland still active? Dstined4gr8tnes
  9. What stage are you. I experimented with all types of foods in liquid and puree stages prior to surgery, I may can make some suggestions.... Dstined4gr8tnes
  10. Oohhh I may still your diet and skip puree to lol. Seems to be a good move of the "nut" lol. I really like the liquid, today I made liquid black eyed peas with skim milk and garlic and my kids thought it was gravey and put it on their rice lol. I never told them it was a boost of protein they will need. Dstined4gr8tnes
  11. Good luck ladies, an abundance of prayers your way. Mine was four days ago and I'm feeling a ok....I'm sure you will be too. Ask questions and be prepared...everything should go smoothly....welcome to a new journey Dstined4gr8tnes
  12. I agree and you are too...so happy to know that I will be able to run after my kids and not want to pass out lol Dstined4gr8tnes
  13. Weigh my self why? I never weigh myself either. Size is more important than pound to me. Plus it can become rather obsessive to constantly count pounds. If you are following proper eating and excersize things should go pretty smoothly.... Dstined4gr8tnes
  14. Try flavorless protein. I just pour mine into things I like and it tastes like nothing....added. gl Dstined4gr8tnes
  15. Great! You look like you are glowing....keep up the good work! Dstined4gr8tnes
  16. Thanks its not working smh...but hopefully I can figure it out Dstined4gr8tnes
  17. Hey all, this has been a very long journey for me. I completed all of my classes successfully, went in for surgery in November and the day of the surgery it was cancelled. WHY? Lol, another story for another day. Either way u did not give up and a rebegan my commitment this February. On May 9th I went under and I am four days post opt. Excited is not the word. I never cared about my size because I feel big is beautiful....I have always been gorgeous. In fact I have a tattoo that says ms. Big and beautiful. However there is nothing sexy about unhealthy and with my weight climbing, the complications were crazy. I've been obese my entire life..I wore a womans 14 when I was ten. A womans 22 at 18 and ive been a 28/30/32 since I was 20. Im 30 years old now and my weight when I began this journey was 398 on the day of my operation I was 364. Of course by looks I never felt I weighed as much as I do, but I am working towards day five of a healthier specialer me....:-)
  18. Thanks....im still excited and want to make sure im doing what the dr. Wants but im exausted lol. Plus I hate narcotics...
