  1. I talked to my Drs office today and was assured it was all faxed again today, trust me I will be calling my insurance everyday to see that they have it this time!

My request was submitted on June 17th, or so my Drs. office says, Ive been calling every few days to insurance to keep checking even though we were advised it can take 30 days, well when I spoke with insurance today I was advised they have never received anything Im so beyond frustrated and the girl at the Drs office acted like it was no big deal saying "Well we will just resubmit it today" you would think they check to make sure this information has been received once faxed to the insurance company.... so now my 30 days starts all over again.....I am sooooo ticked......Thanks for letting me vent!

Ive thought the same and I was the mom and dad to my twin sons, they are the reason that I didnt have surgery til now, who was going to take care of them if "it" were to happen...now several years later my babies are 21 year old grown men on their own, I felt I did the best I could to raise them on my own but now its MY turn to better my health. best of luck to you!

  8. Im still pre op and I know I will get a lot of different answers.... but how long did your surgery last and were there any other medical conditions taken care of at same time?
  9. My Dr and nut do not even sell it, they say as long as its 100% whey get it where you can, thats crazy makes you think they are only wanting the extra money

  13. I understand going home with a drainage tube for a week isnt unusual, however I have a co worker who had an infection to develop due to it. Has anyone else heard of this
  14. im still pre op and take about 10 pills day, I cant wait to at leastst cut this in half and hopefully get rid of them all!! Congrats to you you must be thrilled!
  15. blue cross blue shield athem...my Dr says they are the quickest insurance he has dealt with ...I will try to allow the normal 2 weeks before I call again, but something tells me i will be calling them back in a few days .

Sorry if this posted twice...I had my nutrition class today which was the last thing I had to do, within 2 hours of getting home I got a call form Drs office everything had been submitted now we play the waiting game, she said we should hear something within 2 weeks and I could have a date for early August.....Its getting real up in here and I cant wait for my new life to begin!

I just finished up my nutrition class, it was the last thing i had to do so now all my info will be submitted and some great news came from the class today, my Dr only requires a 2 day clear liquid pre op but 2 weeks after. He said the response time with my insurance has been good and I should hear something within 2 weeks....its getting real up in here can not wait for my new life to begin!
  21. I think BCBS is a lot different than others, my doc says its the best insurance he has dealt with, and I still pre op

  23. Congrats..... I still have a nut class to do (this coming Monday) then everything will be submitted. I cant wait for the day where I will be the one posting... "I GOT APPROVED"
