  1. That could be true. All of my sandals are extremely tight around my ankles...
  2. My NUT advised me to have my doctor give me a diet pill. Which he prescribed Adipex as a weight loss pill. It has suppressed my appetite but for some reason I feel like I have gained weight. My clothes fit tighter! I'm so afraid to step on the scale I don't know if I can handle another set back. I have a appointment with my NUT tomorrow I am hoping I have lost at least 5-8lbs.
  3. I started off strong with the pre op diet consisting of the 3-4 protein shakes per day. I had lost a total of 16lbs sticking to the diet. However I went off the diet and gained 10lbs back. I had no idea that if you gained any of the weight back you would be required to start over. So now I have till August 1st to lose the required 10lbs or I can not keep my surgery date of August 30th. If anybody has any advice I would greatly appreciate it.
  4. Those are te diets I had to follow for my 6mo supervised diet. The protein shake diet I just started almost a month ago and have lost about 12lbs so far...

  12. I currently have McLaren Medicaid. I lost my job and have been covered by them for the past year. My BMI is about 50 and I've had a couple appointments. In the beginning the doctor said surgery date maybe around end of September. But last week they put me on a PreOp Diet. The diet consisting of three Protein shakes per day, 1/2 sandwich, and a weigh watchers meal. Does this mean my date is going to be moved up? I'm getting nervous wondering what that means. I am scheduled to go back to work at the end of August. I don't want all this hard work to go to waste... NEVER LET YESTERDAY USE UP TO MUCH OF TODAY! BE BLESSED

  16. The doctor just put me on my PreOp diet last week. I am wondering how long will I be on this diet before I get my actual surgery date? I have had one appt with him, one with the psychologist, and two with the dietician. All of these within the last two months. My BMI is currently 51.
