  1. @Deez - this is not how we deal with people. I understand what you are driving at, but she is human. Lets look over what we are writing before we post. I know for sure if I post something and I get a response saying "stop posting" that person would never stop hearing it from me. Lets all play nice and support each other. If you feel someone is posting madness that you can't stand-do not reply. They will get the message.
  2. I think the best thing to do is accept responsibility. I have made some decisions in life that I regret as well. I however realize that these are things that cannot be reversed. So I have grown to support my decisions, if I don't no one else will. Ok maybe this was not for you, move past that and just say to yourself 30lbs in one month is something that is hard to achieve. If you need support please feel free to reach out. It's ok to regret, but you have to learn to accept. My mother always says "improvement comes with regret"
  3. I remember a Pre surgery thread with you, you were saying that you liked your body and didn't want to be thin. You thought I was being judgmental by saying reconsider doing the surgery if you do not like the expected outcomes. Please keep the faith, this is irreversible and I'm sure you will be pleased once the stall goes. I am 2 months 2 weeks out and have stalled twice for a total of 6 weeks. Every little thing is going to be alright. I also lost my curves, but I can't wait to see what is to come.
  4. I just came back from Jamaica, and my best friend promotes parties there. I drank like a sailor and I was good. The first night I drank 4 shots of white rum and realized that I was not even tipsy. So....Don't judge me! I'm curbing my dirty ways.
  5. Ladies ladies you are all pretty, there is enough weight loss to make everyone happy. If you post, no matter what it is- expect someone to answer. If you answer please read it back because we all can be sensitive at times. It is also hard to tell tone in writing. We are here to give/receive support, my mom gives me support but when she says something I don't want to hear, I call it a lecture. Lets just let stuff fall off our shoulders.
  6. Lets all just hold hands kum ba yah.
  7. Wow...you gotta tell me how, amazing.
  8. I was sleeved 4/1/13 down 43lbs. Had a four week stall and got dizzy every time I stood up for 3 weeks. I just went back to just getting in wonton soup with beef shreds instead of wontons.
  9. I am pretty sure you are going to be ok, but I would be traumatized as well, and on your first day back too. Please let us know what the Dr. says. Feel better and don't worry too much.
  10. Thanks guys, I spoke to my nurse today and she said-drink a lot of water...,says it neutralizes it. Lets see. So uncomfortable.
  11. So for the first time in my life, I find myself chatting it up less. I am so skeptical that because I am not getting all the nutrients necessary to keep it fresh or by the least neutral. I am afraid to constantly use my mouth wash as often because I often end up swallowing some and I'm not trying to harm my brand new stomach. Any advice? I get so upset at people when they do not take care of their hygiene and certainly do not want to become a hypocrite.

    Help...I'm being deprived!

I know how you feel. I am 6 weeks today and I know that I am bored with most of what I can eat. I have not lost weight in over 4 weeks. What I do is imagine being on a regular diet and think about how many years I would have to work out and stick to it, just to lose 30lbs. It gives me a different outlook. Mix it up...purée some shrimp and add it to some wonton soup. It helps me. Whatever you do, just know you have support.

Well, I would advise you not to do said surgery. If you like the way you look...it's senseless to do a surgery that will have you lose 75% of excess body weight.
