  1. No. I actual have Medicaid working through approval process. Last step is to be cleared by my primary who hasn't cleared me yet because my hemoglobin is 10.4. How does self pay work? Do they have plans?
  2. How did it go? How long did it take to get approved til the actual surgery date?

  6. Thanks to both of you. Both responses are very encouraging. I just hadn't anticipated the dr dragging it out so long. I keep telling myself "it's going to happen".
  7. I went to psych already and have been cleared. I have completed every step except for the clearance from primary due to my hemoglobin.
  8. Bummed out for real...the last piece. Someone told he will give me a shot. My hemoglobin is 10.6 up from 9 in four days. I just want to get every in and wait for approval. Snail pace!
  9. My hemoglobin is 9 my doctor says it needs to be between 12-15 for him to clear me for surgery. How long does it take to get my iron up?
