Hello All! I was sleeved 6-13-13 and I'm past goal. Yay! However, I don't want to loose ano pound. I started at 193 and today I'm 132lbs. Any suggestions?
  4. SW 193 CW 140 Loving my sleeve!!!!!
  5. Have you been taking any acid reducers? Most of us are on something. For me it's Pepcid 20 mg's twice a day. I've noticed if I skip a dose my tummy feels yuckie!
  6. Congratulations fellow sleever! You've had surgery and anesthesia so give it some time. You'll be fine.
  7. Steamed veggies, fresh fruit and any seafood for me
  8. Well for me... Thrift stores & clearance items for now. I'm tired of spending $.
  9. Well honestly it cured mine!
  10. For me head hunger means I just want a "taste" in my mouth. Gum or a mint usually does the trick for me on that. Pre-sleeve hunger- stomach growling w the I MUST eat! Post sleeve "hunger"- I don't have any. I'll get weak if I go too long btwn meals. I love this though bc I'm not "driven" to food. Also post sleeve I (for a better lack of words)---> crave... meat, Veggies & fruit no joke. My taste buds changed drastically. I cannt stand fried foods nor sweets.
  11. I don't have one. It's optional @ my Surgeons office.
  12. I'd call your Surgeon bc mine closed fairly quick.
  13. I know it's hard right now but trust me things will get better day by day.
  14. My surgeon did both my band & sleeve. Upon band removal he said I needed to wait 10 wks bc of scar tissue.
  15. ^^^^^ Hot Damn you look Great!!!!! Congratulations!!!! I too lost all of my pre op pics due to getting a new phone.
  16. Chinese is my fave!!!! But I've resorted to the soups since being sleeved.
  17. I'd still go out alone for drinks bc you just never know who you'll meet! Plus, going out alone helped boost my self esteem and I loved that no one knew me. Don't give up keep living your life it'll happen when you LEAST expect it! I know bc that's what happened to me. I was single 5 yrs, met a guy out of State. We kept in touch and a month later her relocated from NY to Texas. We've been married 5 years!!!! Just go w the flo & keep moving forward!!!
  18. The zebra is way too cute!!!! Rock it!!!! You look Great!!!!!! Enjoy your date :0)
  19. OMG I broke out bad in months 3-5!!!! It was horrific!!! I went to Target and got a cheap-o version of the proactive kit but what really worked was Walgreens Daily Face Wash with 2% Salicylic Acid!
  20. With any bariatric surgery there's usually an acid reducer we'll need for life. It's normal and Congrats on your new sleeve!!!
  21. You look great! Get back on your Surgeon's/NUT's plan and make healthier choices. It's that simple!
