Any Chicago sleevers
Yesterday I was not able to get all of my liquids in because I ate too much and was full from 3pm yesterday til today. Right after surgery, some wont be able to get all of their liquids in. It was about a week after surgery, when I was able to reach my 64oz. I usually have something in almost every room of house to drink, so that I can sip every couple of minutes. Luckily almost everything that is liquid counts as fluids : protein drinks, soups, Popsicles , etc.

You did a good job for your first video. I know it will get easier as you progress.- Any Chicago sleevers
Just left my appointments. Laurie's was a group meeting and from now on the appointments will be individual. I will have to see her in one money and then three months. So today, we were put on soft foods ( anything you can cut with a fork) yay! Texture again, about 1 oz or so in fish, chicken, lunchmeat. Seafood, etc. and a couple of spoonfuls of a veggie. I can even have a cracker. Dr. Hungness said that everything looks good and that I will need to see him in 3 months.- Any Chicago sleevers

I am still in amazement by this all. Tomorrow makes a full week since I've been sleeved. My body is still not in sync ( my mind says eat and the sleeve says no) but I will take one day at a time.- Any Chicago sleevers
So I'm 5 days postop, surgery June 3rd. I haven't had a problem so far with Protein drinks and puréed foods. Today I had 2 1/2 oz of puréed Wendy's chili (protein packed) with some chili sauce. Omg! It wa like heaven and I was soooo stuffed. I hope that when I go for my postop visit I will be moved up to soft foods. I'm still amazed by how I can eat so little and be satisfied.- June 2013 Sleevers GROUP

It was about a month after my 3rd class that I had my 4th class. Everything is pretty much taken care of for you. I received a call stating that my insurance had approved the surgery and was able to schedule the surgery during the phone call. Once the surgery is scheduled, they schedule your 4th class and prepare your surgical packet. Surgical packet contains the points that were covered in the phone conversation, date & time of 4th class, surgery date, follow up date and time with the NUT and DR. Paperwork for preop testing, and what to expect at the hospital. All of that went very smooth for me because I work there and didn't have to do a lot traveling back and forth.- June sleevers?
I was very anxious the morning of the surgery, by the time I arrived at the hospital a calmness came over me.- June surgery dates

I had my surgery on June 3rd with Dr. Hungness and I'm doing well.- scared nervous and hungryyyy
I'm doing well. Getting adjusted to my new life. Learning what my new full is and the warning signs if any. How are you doing?- Vsg done. Surgery & recovery was hard
Well Georgette seems to be handling things well. I think the hunger I have is head hunger. Because my stomach feels tight at times and then I have to walk to get some of the tightness to go away.- Vsg done. Surgery & recovery was hard
As soon as I came home I was able to start pureed foods, but I stuck with clear liquids yesterday. Today I had a vanilla premier protein shake, took about 3 hours to complete the 11oz. I have been sipping on water and wylers light pink lemonade. For lunch I had 2oz of puréed chicken and rice, very yummy. First actual food since Sunday, still amazes me. I did remember to stop drinking 30 mins before and start 30 mins after eating. I was given 1oz medicine cups before leaving the hospital and that's what I ate my lunch out of with a baby spoon. These utensils were very helpful with eating and it took me 30 mins to eat.- Today is the Day!
Good luck! - Any Chicago sleevers
