I went through the same thing. Trying increasing fiber and fluids. And stool softeners are always helpful. When my urine is dark I know that is a sign that I'm not getting in enough fluids and then I increase it.- June 2013 Sleevers! "The List"

You should definitely find out what their exact requirements are. I have Aetna and Aetna required at least two years of my weight being documented. I had switched PCPs (my previous PCP had died and no one could locate my records) I had only been with the new one for less than a year. Luckily I was able to get a copy of a visit from my gyne. It didn't matter that it wasn't my PCP, but as long as I had some type of medical documentation regarding my weight.- June 2013 Sleevers! "The List"

You've made a decision that you feel is right for you and your health. You will have people that will have positive and negative comments, you are doing this for you and no one else matters.- Any Chicago sleevers
You're going to do great. Don't be alarmed if you get a little whacky for the first few days. I felt like a crazed person the first few days until my body adjusted to the diet. I was also able to lose 9 lbs on the 10 day preop diet.- June surgery dates

When you blink, it will be the night before surgery and you will be thinking " what the heck am I doing?". Well at least that is how I felt.- Any Chicago sleevers
I was sleeved June 3rd and everything is going well. For everyone that is soon to be sleeved I want to let you that is normal to have concerns and a lot of what ifs. I have been there and continue to go through it. I try to share as much of my experiences with the group as possible. I have learned the hard way that is not good to stock up on a lot of things, your taste for things will change. Mine taste from day to day and week to week. I have some protein powders that are sitting in the cabinet because the sight of them discuss me right. So now I'm using different ones. I have also learned so far that Georgette ( my sleeve) does not like processed cheese, Hawaiian punch, and has a love/hate relationship with chicken. Also, I can't seem to get enough of spicy things.- Any Chicago sleevers
