You're too thin! Stop losing now!
I've had a lot of people say that to me as well. I think it's mostly because they're so used to our old bodies they can't seem to grasp our new ones aren't unhealthy just because they're a lot different than before. I always say "I am, look and feel perfectly healthy but thanks for your concern.". That usually seems to stop them from making any more comments or some might say "Well yeah but don't lose any more okay?" and that's the end of it. Unfortunately we can't make everyone like us. Some will say you need to lose weight and some will say you need to stop losing. What's important is for you to be happy with your body and feel healthy and strong. P.S.1 You look quite healthy and very beautiful to me! P.S.2 English isn't my first language so I apologize if I'm not being understood.

St. Patrick's Day Challenge
Goodmorning! Let's do this! Start weight: 156 Goal weight: 150 Thought I'd be more realistic this time by not setting an unreachable goal. Lost almost all of my extra weight so losing has become quite slow now. 141 will be my final goal that I have to maintain.

happy new year!
My doctor didn't give me any pre op diet either. Just asked me not to eat sweets and foods with a lot of fat the week before the surgery. I guess it depends on the doctor. I did fine anyway so I'm sure you will too. Even though if you do want to follow a pre op diet you could always just ask your doctor and nutritionist or I guess you can also look for one over the internet. I just think it's best that you get advice from your doctor and nutritionist first.

Does anyone regret this surgery?
I think some of us do experience regret feelings at first since it's quite a big deal. It's a life changing surgery and some psychological support is quite needed. I did have my moments at first too..heck I still do once in a blue moon at 7 months out but trust me. It does get better! I know eating seems hard now but try taking it slow. Really small bites and good chewing. I hope you feel better soon.

April Sleevers/Success and Struggles
Hello there! I was sleeved on April 20th, 2013 and have lost 40 pounds so far. I'm quite happy with my new stomach. I like that I can only eat tiny portions but I struggle with my protein...so I have to work on that. It's definitely not an easy way and I wish more people could see that too. I've heard people saying surgery is the easy way to lose weight and we're lazy for making that choice but really they know nothing about it...good luck to all of you and I hope you enjoy this amazing journey.
