Lucky #7 are still going strong !!!
Tracy & Jim drove down the coast Sunday/Monday. Spent last night at Chris & Kellie's, Pismo Beach tonight. I think they're going to San Diego and Temecula. Stupid puppy is running around with her bed on her head. She's nuts! She gets under it and then starts spinning around! This is her crazy time. Walked her around, played ball with her, and borrowed 4 yr old from upstairs to run her around on the lawn! Oh...then took her for a scooter ride to try to settle her down! Didn't work. I almost had leftover soup tonight, too, but found that rock fish at Safeway.. 1/2 price. We really like it... I think it's RockCod. But that soup was sure good. Will have it again tomorrow.

Heard about the tornadoes and the deaths. So sad!! Figured it was in your area when they showed the map of MT and where it was. Karla gone until Wed..... scattering dad's ashes, right? So, where is Candice??? Not packed yet. Promised to choose hats today. Three bags next to my chair!! Took early lake loop, then Surf Shack. Got 1/2 price rock fish and shrimp at Safeway on the way back. Had shrimp cocktail for lunch and will probably have the rock fish for dinner. Took Zoey for a walk around the complex after lunch. She sure had a great time outside last night, playing with the neighbor kids on our little hill. They were throwing the ball to her and she was chasing them around and jumping all over them when they were rolling down the hill outside our door... three of them including little boy upstairs....Gavin. Must try to remember his name. I think he is about 4yrs old.

Hi! Very quiet day here today. Nice weather. We took our lake loop excursion early today. Zoey enjoys that so much! Joyce said her internet should be fixed by the time she gets back from vacation. But I don't remember when that is! We'll be taking I-90 all the way to I-94. Then we cut south to visit a friend in Madison WI. I'll keep you all posted. We are all in soup mode I guess! I decided I wanted to make white chicken chili yesterday. Saw a packet of seasoning in the grocery store. Didn't exactly follow the directions. It said to saute the chicken... I already had rotisserie chicken that was cooked and in the freezer. Then it said 1 cup water.. but I thought it was too thick. So I added 2 cans of FF, low sodium chicken broth. And I added 2 cans of white beans instead of 1.... 1 Cannelloni and one Navy Beans. And I added some sauteed onion, garlic and yellow bell pepper, and some carrots. It was really good. Great pictures!! Enjoyed seeing them. You look GREAT!! We will miss you! Hugs on the dental work!! Hope you can figure out how to get internet at the lake!!

Welcome to our site! Glad to have you join us. I'm surprised your doctor hasn't expressed more concern about your port. It should not be causing you pain. Seems like he may not have anchored it well enough. I would think it'd be an easy fix if that's the case. You're doing great with your weight loss!! Congrats!

Maybe it is too soon to walk on the treadmill that long. Did your doctor say that was okay? Was that your first time to the gym since surgery?

UGH! I can relate to the pain! Left hip hurt so bad I could hardly walk when I first got up this morning. Back hurting today, too. So... Yeah, made some unhealthy food choices, but got a lot of exercise this weekend. Walked a lot, did a lot of steps on Friday! Played hard with the dog last night... she was a bundle of energy and I couldn't seem to tire her out. The more I played with her the more wired she was! Only made one trip around the condo... back was hurting too much to do it again. Broke a couple of bones in my right foot years ago, and when I've been walking a lot that hurts too. So that was hurting worse than anything else last night. I did quite a lot of walking down at the waterfront before we did the "Happy Hour" thing. So I was trying to tire Zoey out by playing fetch with her last night. Did it for a long time, and the neighbor cat was getting in on it. Then brought her in but she was still CRAZY! So took her out again, and the neighbor came out and we both were throwing the ball for her and the cat... Hilo! They had a great time. Had to continue tossing things at her for a while after I brought her in. She just wouldn't unwind! Did a tough 1 hr workout in the pool today. And I know I will have to walk Zoey around a couple of times tonight, so I didn't go upstairs to the weight machines or bike today. Hope you are all having a great day. We are near 80 degrees today and lots of sunshine.... 4th day in a row!! And the whole week is supposed to be nice. We are finally getting some summer. So.... don't you know Tracy & Jim are traveling down the coast and they're having unseasonably cool weather!! Just talked to Kellie. They're going to be at their place soon. And Earl is over at the RV. Just called to say Adam is working his butt off while they're gone... floating on an air mattress in the pool sipping on a Bud Lite.

Lucky #7 are still going strong !!!
Good Morning! Wow! Busy weekend! Trip with Tracy & Jim on Friday, Aquafest on Saturday and then went to Tracy & Jim's for a short visit. They left to drive down OR/CA coast yesterday morning. Yesterday, after church and lunch, went to Everett waterfront. Walked a lot, Farmer's Market there. Zoey got tired... it was in the 80's. So Earl had to carry her in the little red carrier quite a bit of the way!! But then we ended up at Anthony's and enjoyed Happy Hour on the patio. Ate too many bad things all three days and weight is up a little this morning. And my back and hips hurt from all the walking. I don't feel like going to TOPS! Think I might skip it this morning. I never do that, but just not motivated to move out of my chair. Have to go to PT at 11 a.m. Candice... doggie thing sounds like a hoot! Congrats to you and Bridget!! Sorry about the bad haircut. I go to those places a lot! Have been fortunate, though.... no bad haircuts. Just did it again a few weeks ago and was pleased with the haircut. Zoey has been wearing me out. She gets so freaky every evening. Neighbor, Kim, helped me play with her last night. One of her cats has been getting in on the fun the last couple of days. He is starting to run after the ball, too, when I throw it. Yesterday he teased Zoey in to chasing him several times. And they were swatting at each other, having a great time! I was watching closely because he is NOT declawed and I didn't want her to make him mad!!

Good Morning all! TIRED!! Busy weekend. And I ate a few bad things! Weight is up a little this morning. Day trip w/DD & SIL on Friday...Sr. meat load lunch at Denney's, then we went to Chinese at dinner time and split a chicken stir fry thing with DD. Saturday.... 1/2 a pita sandwich at the local fair... Aquafest, and some fries. Yesterday took a long walk down Everett waterfront. Then did "Happy Hour" at waterfront place we like to go to. So... that's my true confessions! Deserve to be up this morning.. ate way less than I would have in the past, but still made some bad choices. Back on track this morning. Having some hip/back pain from all the walking over the weekend. Have to go to PT in a few hours. New message from Joyce.... she said she's down 2 lb. Joyce: July 25 at 6:48pm yippee. Wanted to share. Thank you for keeping me alive in the group. Hopefully computer will be fixed when I return from vacation. Have a dog sitter here to care for Gizmo - my husband doesn't have the time or patience. Thanks for helping me stay connected. Joyce

Hi, all! Great synopsis, Julie! I enjoyed the update, too! Joyce asked me to post the following: having technical difficulties at my house. New printer didn't work after installation and bought a 2nd new printer. Then the router had to be replaced and the internet won't connect. Had tech here last night & he no-showed this evening to come back & fix it. Would you be willing to let all our friends at lapband talk know that I'm still alive and just out of pocket. I leave Monday morning for Sanibel Island, and hope all these tech problems are solved when I return.

Lucky #7 are still going strong !!!
Hugs from me, too, on scattering your Dad's ashes. Closure is a good thing. Dumb guy is out riding the tractor cutting the lawn because they're leaving on a "road trip" down the west coast in the morning! He says he'll be "FINE"! Clinic we both go to has walk-in hours on saturday until noon... so this is so stupid! He'd be in and out in no time and then he'd know if he broke something or not. He thinks maybe the bone is "chipped". Wouldn't you want to KNOW for sure if you were about to leave on a trip?? Yes, I was very nervous about those eagles, as much as we were enjoying watching them soar through the skies! My Zoey did not get to go for a scooter ride yesterday, so first thing this morning she was sort of tugging on the ties of the scooter cover. Earl took it off, so now she is out there on her leash sitting on the floor of the scooter staring at me! I didn't go to the gym yesterday and probably not today, but I did walk a lot yesterday and did SO many steps.... on the ferry, at Jim's Mom's house. And had to walk the dog when we got home, and play fetch with her out in the yard. I even got one of the neighborhood cats in on it. "Hilo" was enjoying chasing after the ball, too, and was swatting at it, and sometimes just watching us! It was funny! We're going to have a gorgeous weekend. Think DD#2, Jodie, might be a little miffed at us. Today is her birthday..41 yrs old. So we wanted them to come up here and go to our local summer festival.... Aquafest. Lots of fun stuff for the kids, etc. And we were willing to take the kids and let them go out for dinner for her birthday, and they want to go to a movie. But she wanted us to come down there... and go out to movie and dinner with them. BUT... they want to see "Inception" in IMAX... and we have NO desire to see that. So I wiggled out of it. Tracy said it was totally confusing. Earl would find that very frustrating... a lot of dream sequences, and convoluted dream sequences. That would probably drive me crazy, too, and neither of us is in to Sci-Fi like they are. So... I called last night when I saw her email and said... how about we come down NEXT weekend and take you out to lunch! She didn't sound too happy about it. But... oh, well. My fault... she was my last born and I kind of spoiled her! So she thinks everything is about her. Love her to pieces.. .she's a good person, but....Don't want to spend such a beautiful day inside a movie theater anyway! They're going at 1 pm!

Lucky #7 are still going strong !!!
Gone all day with Tracy & Jim. Took ferry over to Bremerton to check on his Mom's other house. we'd never seen it and he'd been wanting to show it to us for a long time. It was a beautiful day for a ferry ride and beautiful view from his Mom's place. Couldn't help thinking.... WOW... we could've paid her $1000 to spend July 4th weekend! Gorgeous setting. But... needs a good cleaning, and new carpet/floors... she let her dogs have the run of the house. Anyway, it was after 6pm when we got home so we went out for dinner. Then I had to go outside and play with Zoey for a while and take her for a walk because she'd been in the car most of the day. Had to watch her real close over at Bremerton. House is on about 7 acres, heavily wooded, and a pair of eagles kept circling overhead.. they have had a next there for years. Remember the movie "The Proposal" ??? where the eagle flies off with the little white fluffy puppy!!?? YIKES! I knew about the eagles, so I was nervous about letting the dog run around. Then when I actually saw them, made Earl pick her up and carry her. Then kept her up on the porch with me and Tracy. Bad traffic on the way home. All stopped up on one freeway over there... Tracy was driving... Jim made her trade places with him and he took off down and ON ramp to get off!! Everyone was doing it but Tracy was freaking out. At first Earl and I told Jim not to do it, but then... everyone else was doing it, so we both told him to go for it!! LOL! What an exciting adventure! It wasn't the end of our traffic woes, though. Got stuck in another traffic jam soon after that. Once we got back on the ferry, I saw a "KING5 BREAKING NEWS" email on my Blackberry that said I-5 Northbound traffic was backed up for 12 miles because of a bus that caught on fire! So Jim zigzagged us through all the back roads to get home. What should have been a 2 1/2 3 hr drive, including ferry and ferry wait time turned in to about 4 hours!! And a little while ago Tracy sent me a text mesaage saying Jim fell down the back porch steps taking the dog outside and his lower leg is all swollen and he's in a lot of pain.. but he won't go to the ER!! Might be broken, I think!

Oh, my!Those new phones sound wonderful! What a great price, too! If they do everything they're supposed to do, that's pretty impressive for that price! I'd love to sync my cell phone contacts with the house phone! Zoey likes to go anywhere, anyway... car, walk on the leash, ride in the scooter! Just walked two more times around the complex with two neighbors. That makes 3Xtoday, maybe 4. The living room is a total disaster... dog toys everywhere! She will have a great time playing with your dogs! She wore Gigi out today... Tracy had to put Gigi in her crate when they were over here to give her a rest because Zoey wouldn't quit trying to wrestle with her. And funny thing just happened with Candy... Candy still HATES the puppy, but she is no longer hiding out in the spare room. She is back to normal. So she was just sauntering through the living room with this "get out of my way, DOG" attitude and Zoey wanted to play. So she kept going right up to Candy's nose. Finally Candy started swatting at her and hissing. Just made Zoey's tail wag harder... she was convinced the cat was playing with her so she kept it up. Candy just kept swatting at her but Zoey just followed her down the hallway trying to play. Don't know about the calories in the white chocolate. I'll check as soon as I can..... Earl put it in the car with the next load going to the RV.

Julie, Glad you got to talk to someone from the clinic and hope you get some satisfactory answers soon! Would love to see a photo of Mimi and the puppy! We are so much enjoying our little puppy and she is keeping us both busy and helping us get some extra exercise!! I will definitely keep you posted on our travel progress. We only drive about 200-300 miles per day. We're planning to leave about Aug. 13-14. So... have yet to plan the route, but I think it will take us through Bismarck. If we can possibly work it out, would love to meet you, too.

Lucky #7 are still going strong !!!
Oh... of course... he informed me that all his clothes are already packed!! He says he can put 12 sets of underwear in the RV and still have enough for the next three weeks... doing laundry every few days! I'm happy for him. I can't give him my clothes 3 weeks ahead of time! Sorry! He took my jackets the other day... I think he said I could have TWO!! Well, that will change because he is counting dress jackets.. like blazer, etc. types. That is NOT outerwear! I'm supposed to give him purses next and I'm allowed SIX! So I have to think about that a while. He claims I have 45! Whatever! I haven't mailed your SF White Choc powder yet.. and Earl put it in the car to take to the RV. Is it okay if I just bring it with me?? And I didn't mail your check yet but haven't forgotten. Need to go online and transfer money from savings to checking in my Palm Desert "mad money" account. Said I'd pay out of that to calm Earl down. He is all hyper about the cost of gas for this long trip (6500 miles) plus pay our space rent in Sept, too. It's really NOT a problem, but since he thinks it is.. just best to placate him any way I can. Will get your check in the mail for Vegas ASAP! PT was fine... they keep adding stuff and this was the Non-pool day, so it was tough! I needed heating pad for 10 minutes when I was done! I've taken Zoey on one walk around the complex so far and will take her again later, once or twice around depending on how my back feels. And my knee... when I was finished today, right knee was bothering me and almost caved in once. Can't push things too hard. Good for you going to the gym that early! I had to be there at 9 a.m. but if I didn't have that appt, I would've been procrastinating! I guess I won't get there tomorrow because we're taking a little day trip with Tracy and Jim over to his Mom's other house across the sound in Bremerton. We've never seen it and they've been trying to get us over there since we got home. So.. nothing on our agenda tomorrow so we're going to go with them. It's supposed to be a real nice day. Geez!! Sniper shooting and lock down!! Scary stuff!! Elvis festival... wow! Brings back GREAT memories of that fun weekend last year!! Puppy race sounds fun! Zoey would be good at that. She can really run fast!! You should've seen her last night! I was sitting outside with her after a walk when Earl got back from the hot tub. So he takes her off the leash and gets one of her balls and starts playing fetch with her. She had an absolute blast.. She'd go chase the ball, then toss it around a little, run circles around it, bark at it, then finally she'd bring it back to him and they'd do it all over again! So after about 15 minutes of that, all of a sudden she takes off across the grass around the corner of the next building! Earl is in pajama pants and no shoes! I CAN'T run, and I'm not the one who let her loose!! Besides that, I'm talking on the phone to my sister in OR! So he goes in and grabs his Crocs and takes off, shirtless and in his PJ pants to chase her down! I think she was two buildings down before he caught her! He is always kissing on her and telling her how sweet she is, etc., but when she does something bad she's MY dog!! LOL! Like today he claims she woke him up licking his face. Well, she's in a cage on the nightstand next to his pillow and I made sure the door was latched when I went to bed. So the only way she could be licking his face is if HE let her out of the crate!! He takes her out and feeds her breakfast when he gets up... 5-5:30 a.m. usually. Then he puts her back in bed with me. She kisses my face at first, but then she goes back to sleep and she doesn't bother me until she sees me take the CPAP mask off my face and turn the machine off. Then she wants snuggles. She is such a good dog! Even if she did wound a couple of groomers and get banned from Petsmart!! LOL

Hugs to everyone today! Apples... we will miss you! Lori, as I said on FB... dealing with that humidity in TX in July!! Don't think I could. We lived over 15 yrs in OK, but not so much humidity there. We often went to TX in the spring and it was bad enough then.. and sometimes the mosquitoes would eat you alive! Julie... glad you're feeling better about that Dr's letter today, but I'd have a hard time dropping it. I think I'd ask for an appt to talk it over. I would need to know what precipitated the decision to drop me as a patient! Yeah, water aerobics is the BEST! Right now I'm on PT for my back. We were doing 2X a week in the pool, but now just 1X and 1X other exercises... exercise ball, etc. for an hour. It's very good. And then I go another 1-2X to the gym to do weight machines and recumbent bike. We'll be leaving in a few weeks for the winter.... yeah, it's EARLY, but going back east for a family wedding first. And, YES, Janet... Earl is already packing and bugging me every day! Tomorrow my assignment is purses and he says I'm allowed SIX. He claims there are 45 back in our bedroom! Arlene, I hope Bonnie misses you!! Yeah... and when the Lucky 7's got together this month she threw away a BIRTHDAY CAKE!! GRRRRR!! LOL! Gwen... you are a fun addition to this thread! I love your sense of humor! BTW... you are a 60+, right?? There is a thread for 60+... though not very active. But you might check it out, too. I had one knee done last summer.. the end of August. Lori had both hers done... a couple of months apart, as I remember. I need to have my other one done... had a partial on it about 5 or so years ago, but ortho doc says hardware is failing and it needs to be converted to a total. Might do that in the spring. Pain was not horrible!! I only cried a few times!!:w00t::biggrin::w00t::biggrin: For the most part, it was manageable. I had an electric ice pack and took pain pills for a couple of weeks. PT came to the house for the first couple of weeks, then I went to a place in the neighborhood. I was walking 1/2 mile within a couple of weeks. Walker... then cane for a while. It is really nice to be so much more mobile than I was last summer!!

Lucky #7 are still going strong !!!
Good Morning! Have PT at 9 a.m. Back feels okay today... so far! Very cloudy, chilly morning and barely 60 degrees with a high of 69 forecast. But... high 70's tomorrow and 80's on the weekend. We'll see. I don't think we've yet hit 80 this summer! Maybe once. Just had my eggbeaters omelet and coffee. Have to get ready to go soon. Zoey licking my ankles for some reason! She is all snuggly in the morning. Leave for Buffalo around Aug. 13-14. Our anniversary is the 15th... 46 years... but looks like we will be on the road. I'll work harder on my fluids today. So far a big cup of black coffee. I slept like a rock last night... so sorry you and Karla had problems sleeping! It is very frustrating when that happens. Saw a racoon run down the fence a little while ago. Not the first time, but I think it's been maybe 2 years since I saw one run down along the fence outside our window. Right after we moved in 3 yrs ago we saw 3 at a time one day. Then another time there was one... and this time only one very skinny raccoon. But I know it wasn't a cat... long striped tail and I saw it's face. Pretty unusual to see them in the daytime. Yep--chair on the deck and a good book! You deserve a rest!

Lucky #7 are still going strong !!!
Ah.... exercise.. I think I overdid it yesterday. Did about 10 wgt machines and 20 minutes on the bike. Then while Earl was at the hot tub last night I did some of my PT exercises on the floor... Then I couldn't get up!!:tongue2: Hurts to roll over on to my knees... but it was either do it or wait there until Earl gt back. At any rate... my back has been hurting today. Had to be at hospital this morning at 8:20 a.m. for mammo. Was back home before 9 a.m. Zoey and I took about a 2 hr ride around the neighborhood. Got some salad mix, Lean Cuisines... on sale $1.88, alaska cod and shrimp on 1/2 price sale. So had shrimp salad when I got back. I don't even know what I did the rest of the day, except Zoey and I went to City Hall to get pet licenses for her and Candy since we're now in Lake Stevens. And we watched a couple of episodes of Judge Judy when we got back. Zoey laid around all day to the point I was getting concerned about her. She was too content to sleep on my lap, in her bed, etc. Then about 6pm she came to life and all hell broke loose! Earl walked her around once, then I walked her around, then we played with her outside for quite a while. Earl let her off the leash and started tossing her ball. She was racing around the yard like a crazy nut, barking at the ball and attacking it and brining it back and doing it all over agin.. finally we came in, but she kept wanting to go in and out and in and out until I finally walked her around the condo one more time. Now she's finally tired out. Stretched out on the carpet sleeping! Restriction is pretty good. But I'm having trouble getting my fluids in between meals. Hope my back is feeling better by tomorrow... have PT at 9 a.m. Right this minute.... it'd be a bit of a challenge! think I need to take some ibuprofen! And Earl just made me a cup of tea. Karla... glad to hear the deck is done! And that you got some help with it!

Wow! A travel agent in our midst!! That's great! I had my left knee done last August and need right one done, too. Maybe next year. Right now... it seems like it was a breeze! Because it was almost a year ago! But I did do pretty good. I think I was walking 1/2 mile in 3 weeks. BTW... we are "snowbirds".... condo in WA state, and we RV in CA in the winter.

HAHA!! Yeah... we in the "Lucky 7's" have talked about that! When we first met at Mall of America 2 yrs ago... none of us had met personally.. but felt like we'd known each other forever. But we joked.... whew!! No "Axe Murderers"!! LOL This year there were 2 I'd not yet met... but after all our online sharing... already "know" each other quite well! Already a connection even though never meeting personally.

HAHA!! Took me a while to figure out all the lingo, too! Us more mature types have to constantly stay alert to the new acronyms!! :biggrin:The Vegas thing... don't know how many are coming or what the room situation is, but you are certainly welcome if you can make it.. Oct 1/2/3 I believe are the dates. We are staying at the Desert Rose. Individuals are booking their own rooms and pairing up with others. Just got back from the gym... 2 days in a row.... yay, me!! Today is my 3 yr "Bandiversary"! Yay, me!! I did about 8 or 10 weight machines.. legs, arms. Then rode the bike for 20 minutes. DD showed up on the bike next to me a few minutes after I got started, but she was doing 30 minutes. I was tired after 20 so I quit. Have mammo early tomorrow morning, and my intentions are to take my gym stuff and go there afterward. I won't do the weight machines 2 days in a row, so I'll just ride the bike tomorrow. Had to take the puppy for a scooter ride when I got back from the gym. She was so excited to see me on the scooter... so I made a couple of rounds of the condo parking lot! She already had a 3 mile ride this morning down to the lake and back. Last stretch we do down Safeway shopping center. About the time we pass Sports Authority, she knows we're getting close to my latte place! She loves the attention she gets there, and the doggy treats!! So she gets all excited... standing up in the scooter basket and wiggling all over the place and wagging her tail! Her favorite barista was working today.... Ashley! Ashley has to come out of the shack and let her lick her face and neck! Then the owner stopped by and she LOVES her too, so she got in some more licks! I make her "SIT" for her treats. But she gets so excited over there she gets mixed up between "sit" and "down"!! But she's trying so hard to please that I give her the treats anyway!! ..... Jodi, I am so sorry you had to put your furry down. That is so sad. But you gave her 6 more years! That's awesome.

Well, Steph...I don't know what to say! Here's my contribution.... tongue in cheek! A real man is a woman's best friend. He will never stand her up and never let her down. He will reassure her when she feels insecure and comfort her after a bad day. He will inspire her to do things she never thought she could do; to live without fear and forget regret. He will enable her to express her deepest emotions and give in to her most intimate desires. He will make sure she always feels as though she's the most beautiful woman in the room and will enable her to be the most confident, sexy, seductive, and invincible. No wait... sorry... I'm thinking of wine. Never mind.

I would love to travel more, but flying is such a hassle these days! I do love to travel in the RV and so glad I talked DH in to driving back east this summer, and then down to OK to visit friends before we go to CA! Really enjoy it! And I LOVE to travel by train! Yeah... lifting babies!! Ten years ago next month, our grandson, Cody was born in OK where we were living at the time. He soon was a very chubby baby. I weighed over 300 lb at the time. I was so limited as to how long I could carry him... my physical limitations and his weight!! When he was 8 mos old, I can remember having to sit him down in the grass occasionally, because I couldn't carry him any longer! I had a very busy morning/early afternoon!! TOPS ("turtled"... no change from last week), PT in the pool + 20 minutes on bike after that. Then I had to take my puppy for a scooter ride! She counts on that! OMG... I love that puppy SO much! What a joy she is! She really isn't a "piranha", despite her bad reputation from the groomer experiences last weekend! She LOVES to ride in my scooter basket, so I have to take her with me when I go to get my daily coffee treat! She loves to go there.. there are about 4 gals that work there, but she has a favorite (Ashley) and she was there today so she got so excited to see her. And then she gets treats there... but I make her "SIT" to get them... for some reason, she is so excited over there that she gets "Sit" and "Down" all mixed up! But... I cave in and giver her a treat if she does one or the other! Probably bad! I break the treats in to about 5 pieces because they are so big and she is so small! I get a good brisk walk with her every day... around the condo complex... one round + 1/4 mile and we usually do 2X around.. with me practically running because she is leaping and running! Really enjoying Laura's vacation pictures! Looks like a wonderful adventure, and great weather! Can't get over how TALL Nelson is looking.. !! Did he have a growth spurt or what!! Lori... yep-- your trips will be mostly to Denver in the not too distant future, so go wherever you can in the meantime!! LOL

Yeah... out and about all the day long until after 2pm!! TOPS (turtled--no change), then PT--1 hr work out in pool, then went upstairs and did 20 minutes on bike. So.. with shower, etc., I was there 2 hrs. Oh... and Earl couldn't break Zoey's heart, so he told me to take her in scooter basket again and he met me there and took her home! So pathetic! I stopped at Subway after TOPS for breakfast because Tracy & Jim told me they have 150 calorie breakfast sandwiches. So I checked it out.. they have several breakfast items that are 150-175 calories. I had a ham and cheese and egg muffin (on an English muffin). Should've only eaten 1/2 the muffin. Calories were okay, but a little uncomfortable because of the bread, so if I do that again, I'll just eat 1/2 the muffin. So... got home from all that after 1 pm and Zoey wanted another scooter ride and I hadn't had my latte yet... so we went to Surf Shack, cruised around Target and went to Albertson's for a lottery ticket... don't tell Earl!! Hadn't had lunch yet and was really hungry because it ws after 2pm by then...so had 1 30 calorie rye crisp cracker w/some of that cheese you guys bought on top, and some of Candice's hummus, and some smoked salmon on top. Then... Judge Judy and some wine. Earl is fixing himself some sort of turkey pot pie or something... left over turkey he found in the freezer, peas, mushroom soup and I don't know what else, but i'm eating the rest of my spaghetti and 1/2 italian sausage when I'm ready.. but not yet! I think Tracy & Jim are headed this way for a short visit. They were over the mountains today looking at houses.. might buy a 2nd house over there where they actually have summer!
