  1. So after having my first set of labs done since surgery I have learned I have low iron. But on the up side I am down 63 lbd!
  2. I would love to see what u came up with
  3. My Fitness pal app or website is awesome
  4. Newlife: What day was your sleeve done? We seem to be losing at same rate which is encouraging too me since I have had 2 plateaus
  5. Started at 282 Surgery day 258 Currently 220 One-derland is in site. ..can't wait for that day. Have had some funny wardrobe malfunctions...like skirt fell of unexpectedly, lol. Good problem too have I suppose
  6. Hungry? I am never hungry and just eat because I need too. I was told the hunger hormone would be fine roughly a yr. So strange how our differences show. I still like food on s mental level but when you can only eat 1-1 1/2 oz at a time the "pleasure" is short lived. Guess that is one way it is helping my mental food demons.
  7. That would be great!
  8. Lol, I lost my shorts cleaning last weekend. Then hubby kept trying to make them fall again!
  9. It is definitely one way to change how you look at food
  10. Things I can't currently tolerate: mayonaise, ranch, creamy soups, peppery smoked fish... anyone else having issues? Surgery was 6/25
  11. I can relate to feeling sick easy. Every few days something makes me sick. No regrets though
  12. Surgery was June 25. Add of today I am 19 lbs down since surgery. Stalled for about a week. Every few days I get sick as I learn of new food intolerances. Still happy I did it but will be glad when this part gets better. List 24 lbs preop so down 43 total at this point
  13. I am struggling to choke down my protein shakes. Where do you find unjury? What do you recommend to mix it with. I liked premier protein but am getting grossed out by it now.
  14. My dr recommended doing body measurements to show success even when weight doesn't always drop as fast as we want.
  15. Before preop diet: 282 Operation day: 258 on 6/25 Post op weight 7/5: 248...my excitement was moving slide 1 less 50 lb notch on scale at work. Creamy soup is too much for me, experienced dumping syndrome which was not worth the taste of cream of mushroon soup. So far feeling pretty good about things. Survived being at july 4th cookout around lots of yummy looking good.
  16. Dr told my family she also made my sleeve a little smaller then normal too.. this should be interesting.
  17. I was happily surprised too learn I was 24 lbs down on the day of surgery meaning I lost 3 more lbs since day before. Yay me. Wonder where I am now as it had been 4 days since surgery.
  18. I was the 25th. Hope your surgery went well. So far so good here. I was done 4 hrs late which did not help my nerves but I made it through. A little hitch at the hospital. The hospital entered my diet as clear liquid instead of bariatric clear liquid. ... meaning the popsicles were full sugar. Those being what tasted best was all i wanted, and a few sips of full sugar juice. 2 meals like this that I couldn't keep down. I figured it out the next morning when my jello was not sugar free so ci asked to swap out since there was no popsicle. Them they asked should I have been getting a bariatric tray...uh yes. BIngo ... that is why I was suddenly having issues after Ice chips had moot bothered me at first. I walked a lot around the floor starting a few hrs after surgery. I went home finally 2 days post op once my body adjusted to the proper sugar free diet. Doing pretty well. Just trying not to get my baby and husbands cold. They sound terrible. Strange not being hungry. I smell stuff and my brain remembers I liked the taste but my stomach is not saying feed me so I am drinking because I know I need to. Nice to know difference between food my brain things it wants vs what my stomach actually needs. Enlightening
  19. One more day. Tummy grumbling but I can make it another day. Tomorrow is the big day. Can't wait to weigh in at work so I feel better about not cheating this weekend.
  20. Tuesday is coming fast. Anxious to get the surgery done. Today is day 6 of liquids. I have done better them I thought I would but it has been hard at times fighting temptation
  21. Stick with it! We are strong enough to make it through.!!
  22. I am on second day of liquid phase. Before preop diet I was 282. I am now 266. My surgery is the 25th
  23. Today is day 2 of clear liquid. Phase 2 of preop diet. Down 16 lbs so far. Right now feeling hungry... but the 25th will be here soon do gonna stay strong
