iron deficiency anemia

So after having my first set of labs done since surgery I have learned I have low iron. But on the up side I am down 63 lbd!

Are you being treated with iron supplements? I had bad anemia even before surgery and have to get iron infusions. I was going once a week, but now I go once a month. Now that my iron is getting better, I am feeling so much better! I hope the figure it out for you :)

same here.. my iron saturation was very low.. just finished 4 sessions of iron infusion one every week.. my next appointment is after 4 months..

I just got labs back today. Not sure if my surgeon had even seen them yet. I definitely have some of the symptoms after looking them up. My boss a dr wanted to give me an injection today but I wanted surgeon to see it before that was done.
