  1. Irregular all my life. 2 months post sleeve and have had mine 3 times. This last time it lasted 2 weeks!!! Not fun.
  2. That's awesome!! I'm 33lbs down. Constipation is bad but is a bit better since I have been eating Quest bars for Breakfast. They have 17g of Fiber. I still don't go everyday but when I do it's easier!!
  3. This thread is just what I needed too! I'm 7 weeks postop and am losing 1-2 lbs a week. Feeling frustrated by that but it's good to hear I'm not the only one and that we are more the norm.
  4. Good luck! Nice to know someone else from Kisco!!
  5. So I've been working out really well this last week. I had 2 days where I actually made if to my goal of 10,000 steps a day. Low and behold, I only lost 1 lb. I know, maybe muscle was gained or inches lost but it still sucks. I'm really bummed. Next week I go on vacation and am really worried. 6 weeks postop.
  6. I used Dr Roslin in Mt Kisco. Great Dr and great experience so far.
  7. It will start up again. You could be losing inches!!
  8. I just wanted to check in to see how all the June 6 sleevers are doing. Here's my stats: SW. 279 CW. 252 Height 5'3" I feel good. Got my energy back. Started working out this week past and bought a fitbit to track my progress daily. It hasn't been easy but everyday gets better. Luckily I have a great friend who is a month before me. She's given me lots of advice and helped me when I was down. I'm not ready to say I love my sleeve, but I do like it!! Lol
  9. I haven't stalled yet. I just started purée food this week. I'm scared to get on the scale since the lose has slowed in the last week. All in all 24lbs down!
  10. I'm still so jealous. I can't have that for another week. Just saw my doc and he said I have to wait.
  11. I'm 2+ weeks post op and still can't lay flat in my bed. I've been sleeping on my recliner since I got home. I miss sleeping next to my hubby:(????
  12. I'm jealous. My doc doesn't slow mushies till 3 weeks. I'm going for my check up today and hoping to persuade him to let me start early.
  13. I think gas-x has a placebo effect on people. The gas in your body is not in the intestinal track so it really does nothing for you. Only time and walking make it better.
  14. Congratulations!!! That's awesome. I'm down 17 and am finally starting to feel better. How about you?? PS. I live in Westchester. Is that close enough to NYC???
  15. I know the feeling. I've cried a lot since u had my sleeve done on 6/6. It does get better. I just keep thinking that I'm one day closer to having a scrambled egg!!
  16. Me too! And I'd love an egg also!!! I have 2 more weeks till I can have puréed food. But can't wait.
  17. Thanks all. This helped me also. Sleeved 6/6 and my stomach won't stop gurgling!! It's confusing because it feels like hunger! Wish I could chew!!!!!!
  18. I'm just ok. Having a but if a hard time with this whole thing. I have to find something to keep me busy but don't have a ton of energy.
  19. I'm still in the hospital too. I was trying to be the "hero" today and not take the stronger pain killers. Not anymore. I'm sooooo mellow now. Hope everyone is feeling better'
  20. I just had my leak test and am good to go with liquids. Just had some broth and sorbet. The only thin I am feeling right now is the erg to burp Very tired too.
  21. I'm here and ready to go!! Wish me luck! See y all on the loosers bench!!
