  2. I had my surgery on Wed 5/15/13 and the nurse gave me a little 2 ounce medicine cup. That's how I take my drinks in that little cup so I can remember to take little sips! Works for me:) Good luck!

  6. Hi I had my band for 7 years. Last Wednesday I had my band removed and the sleeve performed. I was only in hospital overnight. Little sore but not too bad. Am looking forward to a speedy recovery!
  7. Congrats on your decision! Don't go into it thinking you are going to fail! I just had the sleeve done on Wednesday. I am 58 and have struggled with my weight since having my children. Good luck to you:)

  10. Hi! I have had the band for the last 6 years. I lost almost 100 but developed an esophageal pouch. Once my band was loose over the course of 2 years I put all my weight back on. I've tried everything to control my eating and lose weight. I've also tried pills etc. Also found out I have a non functioning thyroid. I am having my band removed and sleeve performed June 4th. Looking forward to having band removed! I have heard from my surgeon and other patients that you don't lose near as quickly with a revision. I'm willing to try though.
