Hi, Sheri, i am about 2 hrs. Away in Ashland, Ky. I have lots of family there in Lexington. I would love to have someone to talk to that has been sleeved. I was sleeved April 3, 2013. I doing well, no complications, and feeling great!! Down 55#.

I too have ADD. I take Adderall. I post op and it did not affect my approval for surgery. I have continued my meds since surgery, they work just as well as they did before surgery. My dr. Said as I lose weight my meds will work better for me. I'm looking forward to that. Good luck getting the meds that will work for you without the side effects:)

Just some words of encouragement. I was sleeved April 3, I too was very nervous, but for no reason. The surgery went very smooth, recovery was easy. Felt great once I got home. I am almost 7 weeks out and have lost 30#. Feeling great:) best oif luck to u all, and many prayers.

The day after my surgery I was like omg what have I done. I never had any pain, but it just kinda freaked me out that 3/4 of my stomach was gone. Once I got home I felt so much better. Never got depressed. Actually felt better mentally than I had in a long time. I pray your experience is as good as mine was. I am 6 wks. Out, feeling good, and 26# down:)

My surgeon said no baths or pool for 6 weeks.

Hey everyone, I was sleeved 4/3 as well. Had my post-op visit today. Down 17 lbs.???? congrats to all of you. It's gonna be an exciting journey.

Just had my surgery April 3rd. Was very nervous. I have to say for no reason. It has been smooth sailing. I feel great!! Already down 10#. Good luck with your surgery. I'll keep u in my prayers. Keep us posted.

I am scheduled for this Wednesday, April 3. Really excited, yet nervous. Mainly about the recovery.
