  1. I've been recently approached to do some modeling for a few photographers which is unreal to me. So I decided to do a fun sexy shoot to celebrate my up coming surgiversary. Hope u like.

  3. Hello my beautiful sleevers! My ass is shrinking at rapid rates and I'm not sure how I feel about that. It used to be one of my most coveted ASSets. Lmao. So I've gotta start these lunges and squats to build that booty up again. Any pointers on how to build that booty?!
  4. Thank you for relating Proudgrammy. That's how I feel at times. Like they only like the new me. Had they known the old they wouldn't want anything to do with her. But then I have to check myself because frankly I didn't want anything with the old me either. Hence the drastic measures to change. So I guess it all comes with the territory and I've got to embrace it.
  5. Thank you darlings! I have nothing but wonderful things to say about my sleeve and surgeon.
  6. Thanks doll! I also created a new FB page. It's called The Light To Healthy Living feel free to request and share.
  7. Hello my beautiful loves! Hope everyone is having a beautiful day! We're almost to the weekend. So as of late I've received several inquiries and personal messages regarding my journey and experience. It's so motivating and inspiring! I love sharing with any and all what I've learned along the way. So I wanted to extend the opportunity to all that are interested to follow me on Instagram or FB. I went public with my decision to be sleeved the day of surgery and it's been an amazing adventure. I track more on there than anything and I'm actually thinking of starting a page for this exclusively. IG: 1PRQueen FB: Lydia De La Luz
  8. Thanks to all. I'm 10 months out. And 8 pounds from my original goal. But since I've done so well I've set a new goal to 125.
  9. Thank you all! Seriously wanted to cue the music.....I Had The Time Of My Life. Such a great moment. Love my sleeve. Loving my life. Falling in love with me.
  10. Good morning all my beautiful sleevers! So I had an amazing NSV Saturday I had to share. I was out on the town with friends in a very hip spot of Dallas. I was out with my gorgeous leggy model looking friend who's a showstopper. I felt good and happy I wasn't insecure but by no means thinking anyone would give me a second look. But I love to dance so I went out on the dance floor and was shaking my moneymaker just in my element. I open my eyes and all eyes are on ME. I was so into the music I hadn't noticed sooner. All of a sudden a tall lean young guy comes up and starts dancing with me. He grabs me by my waist and picks me up! (jaw drop....heart racing....no time to process) he just tossed me in the air effortlessly. I seriously felt like Baby from Dirty Dancing. Hahaha. I've never ever felt so small, sexy and exhilarated. Best night ever!!! I attached a pic of me and of my beautiful friends who were with me that night.
  11. Best I can say is follow all the rules, don't beat yourself up if u stall or slip up. Stay around positive people who are encouraging. Drink lots of water. A cheat day once a week once you're further into your journey and closer to your healthy bmi. Cardio and weights. Yoga and stretches also help. Track your caloric and protein intake. And honestly a healthy sex life has helped me. Lol. Best overall workout.
  12. Not for me it wasn't. I had zero complications. Awesome surgeon.
  13. Thank you darlin! I think for me it has been patience, perseverance and determination. It's a lifestyle change for sure. Being loving and kind to myself. Accepting the stalls and being creative to trick my body into losing again.
  14. Congrats to you on taking a brave life saving step! You will do amazingly. First two days were hell. After that it's a breeze. At least for me it was. Incisions were painless I didn't have stitches just surgical glue.
  15. First I'd like to say hello all my beautiful sleevers! Congrats on your victories small and large! This past year has been one of the most challenging years I've ever experienced. Add to that a life altering surgery (sleeve) and u have a powerful combination. It's had it's up and downs but thankfully my weight has been the major DOWN! I'm 10 pounds from goal and yes I've been a slow loser but slow and steady wins the race!!! I'm beyond thrilled my results and my confidence is higher than it's ever been! Yet I remain humbled by all my life experiences. I've been so inspired by so many of you and you have been my accountability partners in all that! For that I thank you dearly and sincerely! Stay focused and keep your eye on the prize! Love every piece of you flaws and all! Xoxo.
  16. I'm 10 months post op and feeling fit and fabulous. Only 10 pounds to goal!! I feel amazing don't look half bad!
  17. Thank you all. I guess that insecure fat girl is still in me. Lol. I'm working on it though. I guess I just have to embrace it. Just sucks a lil because I can't be incognito anywhere anymore. Lol
  18. Hello all. So I'm having a hard time adapting to the newfound attention. Obviously it's excited and flattering but a part of me is saddened by it. It's bittersweet that it took me losing 80 pounds to be treated so well. It took losing 80 pounds for women and men alike to compliment me. Don't get me wrong, I always had a certain presence and swagger (not trying to sound arrogant) but now it's quite ridiculous. I can't go anywhere without someone speaking to me, complimenting me, approaching me. It's overwhelming. I don't know how to receive it at times. I'm always polite and smile and say thank you. But sometimes I wish I could blend in a little. I wish people appreciated my brain, wit, sense of humor. I don't mean to whine. I'm just wondering if anyone out there can relate. If so how did you handle it?
  19. Thank you all! I feel so blessed and grateful. This journey has been amazing.
  20. We had gorgeous weather in TX yesterday so I was finally able to rock my new mini! And boy did jaws drop. Lol. I can't help but toot my own horn. Double takes left and right. And I was thinking to myself, yup a year ago you would have never noticed me. I was invisible! Now you wanna peak?! Enjoy the window shopping because this girl is not interested! Lol
