  1. Oh good!!! That kinda scared me!!!!
  2. Has anybody ever been denied by the insurance company because of anti-depressants???
  3. Idk if its good I haven't tasted it yet. I heard about it a while ago but I just saw it for the first time in Walmart the other day!
  4. Yea, I know, lol! I've actually taken this time to talk with my therapist and address my lingering issues so that I never make it to this weight again. And I would encourage anyone who has to mandatory weight loss attempts, or even people who don't! Lol, you'll be surprised with what u learn about urself!!!
  5. I started the process in September of 2012...and I still don't have a surgery date!!! Lol, my ins required 6 months of supervised weight loss attempts with a pcp! So don't feel bad, ur not the only one who's been getting the run-around!!!
  6. Hey, has anybody tried that fat free, sugar free Clemmy's ice cream?!?!
  7. They actually sell frozen Greek yogurt now, try that!!!
  8. I'm sure I'll have to get some too, lol, I had a panic attack a whole week before I got my tonsils taken out!!! Haha, don't feel bad, I'm a HUGE chicken! ~sad but true~
  9. Mine is BCBS of Michigan! I hope it's quick for all of us, and those of you that have a date or have already had the surgery, Congrats!!!!
  10. Wow, thanks guys!!! I hope mine only takes 2 days!!! I'm hoping for a June surgery date!!!
  11. Can anybody that has BCBS tell me how long it took to get an approval???
  12. Yikes!!! Poor thing!!! I really hope that reflux does settle. I have acid reflux too, the first time I had it I had a panic attack because I didn't know what it was!!! Lol
  13. Lol, the endoscopy is different than the one I took. Mine was only x-rays, they make u drink the liquid so ur stomach will show up on the picture!
  14. Girl, it took everything in me to keep from throwing up!!!
  15. You got off easy, I tried that but the doctor made me drink more!!!
  16. Just had my Upper G.I. test and that GERD test was horrible, lol!
  17. Lol, to be completely honest, my doctor never really made me do a specific diet. She just made sure I was on the right track cuz my insurance didn't require me to lose any weight, just the weight loss attempts!
  18. Lets keep our courage and hopes high! It'll all work out in the end. I only have 2 more months with the PCP, and I already did the psych eval. I just had the Upper GI test, which was totally AWFUL!!! Lol, then the cardiac clearance next month. So, I don't really have that much longer which makes me more anxious and I have all the same concerns that u guys have about getting to the end and getting rejected, that would suck. So I'm praying hard!
  19. <KimmieMarie> lol, I know I kinda went rogue with the research, but I'm OCD like that!!! And I am too happy we have this site, this is my first day and I luv it so far!!!
  20. < ElaineB> I'm so happy that we can encourage each other!!! I'm not afraid of the surgery, since the sleeve is a little less invasive people on YouTube say they didn't have much pain. But I reeaaallllyyyy hate hospitals! Haha!!! I'm not real crazy about the gas and nausea that comes afterward, but apparently it doesn't last long at all!!! And YES, I can't wait to wear one of those "itty bitty, teeny weeny, yellow polka dot bikinis" lol
