  1. I don't think I would have been that nice! The nerve of her.
  2. I had my surgery 5/16/13. I also ended up having a hernia repair unexpected. Who knew! I took pain meds for 4 days. Took off work for 10 days. I feel great. No problems so far. I can't imagine something popping up all of a sudden. I have lost 29 pounds So far. I have absolutely no regrets what's so ever.
  3. I felt great after 10 days. I even went back to work in that timing. I'm 4 weeks post and I feel like I haven had surgery! I even has a hernia repair at the same time. The only thing difference is, I get full very fast! Good luck to you.
  4. I'm 39 years old. I turn 40 in November. I had surgery May 16th. My starting weight was 246. I am now 230. I'm not going to lie, I want to be in single digits my 40th birthday! I will work hard to get there and even harder to stay there. When I was 165 I wore a 10-12. So I know I can rock the single digits under that. And I can guarantee you will hear me screening, if I get to a size 6! Just being real.
  5. That's pretty pathetic what your friend is doing. We have all been there when the reps confront us because they know, over weight people most likely Want to loose weight. And to know her before and after picture are all from her surgery. I have to say, that is definitely a money maker! That's just make us all Leary of all these products on the market. I would be more upset if mutual or family members fell for it. If that happen I would just have to bust her out!
  6. Wow, what a transformation! You look great! Keep up the good work! I'm going into Suergery May 16th. I'm getting nervous. Did you go on a 2 Week liquid diet before? Great weight loss for 3 mo.
  7. Can you please resend it. I hi the wrong button.
  8. Hi, I'm having Suergery May 16th. I would love to be a part of the F.B group. My email address is eerica30@aol.com. I hope it ok!
  9. You hit the hammer on the nail! Not sure if that's how it goes lol! I totally agree with you. I'm having surgery May 16th. I'm so excited about the change. I weighed out the pros and the cons. The pros out weighed my social food gatherings! Having this surgery is just a boost. After the surgeon does their job, you have to do yours. It's not a quick fix. No offense to anyone. I like this site for its honesty. No one should bash any one for their true feelings but it's also good to hear the true feed back.
  10. She ended up going to another Docor. And yes they did.
  11. I read another post similar to yours, she found out the did not cut enough of her stomach. Make sure that's not the case with you.
  12. You look fabulous for only 10 days out. Who is your surgeon? Do you have a large scar?
  13. I live in Cali. My doctor told me I could use my disability. But I'm choosing to use vacation days . I don't want my co worker to know I'm having surgery. I know they would judge me, ask a million and one questions and watch me like a hawk!
  14. You are defiantly the hot one now! Wow!
  15. I'm having surgery in may. My surgeon informed me I will have the drain for almost 2 weeks. That really freaks me out.
