  1. You look incredibly awesome! Congrats!
  2. I have a 20oz water bottle, I fill 1/2 with water, a squirt of Mio and the rest the Isopure ready to drink. You can hardly taste the Isopure and it has 20g of protein in 1/2 bottle. You will get there. It took me a few weeks.
  3. I didn't use too much in the hospital. Only chap stick! To be honest I was feeling so bad I never even checked Facebook! ???? Afterwards I needed sugar free Popsicles, sf pudding, sf jello, isopure rtd, heating pad for my back, water, crystal light! Good luck!
  4. I am the same way! I have been going about 5 days in between BM and it usually takes a lax to make me go! So annoying! My NUT told me to eat fibrous fruits and veggies and I have been with no luck!
  5. Congrats! The first few days are rough but after that it is smooth sailing!
  6. Tomorrow is a new day! Just because today was a bad day doesn't mean tomorrow has to be. Good luck!
  7. I have 16s. Where do you live?
  8. I saw my mom today for the first time in about 2 weeks and she couldn't stop looking at me and telling me how great look! It made me feel great!
  9. Ask your nut but at 2 months I will be on regular diet. I would use low carb tortilla, black beans, low fat cheese and some chicken! Yummy!
  10. I am almost 6 weeks out and have no problem getting 60g of protein and 600 calories. You should be getting at least 60g of protein! You should talk to your NUT. Try eggs, cheese sticks, Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, canned tuna/chicken. Good luck!
  11. Check out my journey on youtube! http://www.youtube.com/channel/UC50bWlBWzEoSIkFnL11LADw
  12. I also don't feel like my thirst is ever quenched! I miss my Diet Pepsi! It has almost been 10 Weeks since my last one and I am very proud of that! As far as judgement I say to hell with the haters!
  13. That is all you are eating at a moth out? You should be trying to get your protein in with foods. I would say you should probably up your calories. I am almost 6 weeks out, eat about 600 calories a day (no shakes, sometimes isopure) and have lost 42lbs.
  14. Sleeved 5/22 Starting weight before 1 week pre op-246 Day of surgery-234 This morning-204 Total weight lost-42lbs
  15. I think 2 weeks should be fine. I felt 100% except for a little pain in the incision where my stomach was removed.
  16. You don't have very much to lose. Hmm! That is strange to only lose 6lbs. Are you exercising?
  17. I am down exactly 40lbs! This is including my 1 week pre op diet! So excited for the future! 60 more to go!
  18. My thyroid was off a little (under active) pre op and I just got my post op blood work back and it is stlill off, even worse. My surgeon wants to to see my PCP and start meds. Just wondering if anyone else is on the meds.
  19. I second the green apple, it was actually good.
  20. Lol! I am 4 weeks 1 day post op and just started my period! I am feeling very blah! I have felt hungry all day and nothing has made it go away! This is the first time I have felt this way post op. Maybe just because of my period? Anyone else experienced this? It is making me so upset! I feel like it isn't working! Ahhhh! Hormones!!!!
  21. I have not had anything that I am not allowed to have and yesterday I was 4 weeks post op! I want something sweet! I don't want to cheat, even with a small cookie! What is something that will fulfill my craving without throwing me over the edge!
  22. I was also sleeve 5/22 and I have lost about 35lbs. I think you are doing great!
