  5. The major reason I chose te surgery was to reduce my chronic (over 20 a month). Im 25, soon to be 26 ahhhhh! my migraines have taken a toll since i was 23 and have turned my life inside out even landing me in bed for 9 months. Happy to report since I was sleeved on 2/28 I have not had a migraine yet! *Knock in wood* Small headaches here and there but NOTHING like the ER visit type I experienced on the daily. I'm very excited with my results so far but I don't own a scale so I'm not sure how much weight I've lost. But no migraine in 5 days is HEAVEN for me.

Fingers crossed,cheers to a 7am shake.
  9. My dr. Told me to take my daily Meds crushed but my topamax for chronic migraine is beyond horrible to choke down. Mixed with jello it made me dry heave my first night home . I was sleeved on 2.28, is it too soon to try to half a pill and swallow? Thoughts...thanks!

  11. Hey guys I'm 25 and from central jersey. I'm three days post op. excited for results but wishing I had a fast forward button right now ..haha
  12. I struggle with the same question but I decided if i was going to commit to this lifestyle I needed to be honest with myself and everyone around me. Also I knew I'd need help after surgery was over. I'm about three days out now and I'm happy I'm able to be honest. The hardest and most awkward was probably telling guys I've been dating. I've heard nothing but positive feedback (even from my job) but I understand how there could also be negative aspects. It's a huge commitment and I applaud you for going it alone! Hope all is well
  13. I'm three days post op and I'm starting to get that flu feeling. I'm trying to get w enough fluid in. Makes me feel better that others are feeling the same way. I'm hoping my chronic migraine can stay at bet until I can introduce more foods
  14. I got the sleeve on the 28th and I'm having problems getting my liquids and my Meds in. My migraine Meds are so hard to get down/crush in jello or pudding. Any suggestions? I'm only three days out please tell me this gets better!
