  1. Just wanted to know, I plan on making some job changes in about 2 months and will not have an option for insurance through a job. Does anyone have any recommendations?
  2. Yesss!! Let's dance away these pounds! Lol
  3. Congratulations on the lose, your almost to that reg size. I can't wait to get there either!
  4. I'm at the end of 4 weeks and I've been stalled for most of this week.
  5. Hope everyone is doing well. I'm now 4 1/2 weeks out and I'm down 26 pounds. I also started back working out this week.
  6. I'm now 4.5 weeks out and I'm down 26 pounds. I also started back exercising at home. Hope everyone is doing well
  7. Congrats on the weight loss so far. Is all your weight loss post op?
  8. My experience with primary and secondary is with anthem bcbs with my job and they do not cover any bariactric or anything with weight loss either. I had secondary medicaid and it was a covered benefit and they paid the cost for the surgery with no problems. The dr office did try and get pre authorization from bcbs 1st being that it is my primary then filed with medicaid. I was able to get surgery done 2/18 before my medicaid was cut off. I would try with another facility if you have that option. Good luck sweetie, I'm glad to hear that it seems you are not going to take no for an answer!
  9. I'm a little over 2 weeks out and I'm down 18lbs from my last dr visit back on jan. 30th. Dr said that I'm doing good and have exceeded expectations. I will weight myself on my scale tomorrow morning and track my own weight since I will not have a follow up again until 6 months out. I'm hoping to get down another 15lbs by my bday at the end of this month.
  10. It sounds like you will not have a lot of loose skin either. That's a good thing!!
  11. I was sleeved on 2/18 and I still am having issues getting in all my fluids too, but it is getting better. I need to actually track the total I'm doing each day.
  12. Im doing good. Im now 2 weeks out. Everyday things are getting better. I just went back to work yesterday and that is going fine too. When did you have surgery?
  13. Janel2013, I know for me the walking helped me with the pain I had in my shoulders. I didn't really walk a whole lot but I would get out each day and get something from the store and I guess that was good for me.
