  1. Yes they do my next goal is to be 230, what I got down to when was in congestive heart failure and what I was around when I got married. So 11 lbs hoping to have that gone before summer.
  2. My dr said 6 weeks also so I will try diet soda but don't know how it will go

Well I set a goal to loose 25 lbs before my 25 th bday in may well I'm so close .4 lbs away that's right .4 away 18 days post op so since my bday is 6 weeks away I pray .4 comes off lol small goals I feel will help me along the way, and since last yr in march I got down to 230 after I got really sick and was in hospital ( 280 and lost 50 in two weeks) that will be my next goal (241.4) now. Then it will be to get below 200 ( been over 5yrs). When you have 80+ lbs to loose I'm hoping this makes it seem easier ? Or wishful thinking.
  4. I felt the same way but I had faith I did everything asked of me and I knew I met the requirements. And now I'm post op and down 23lbs it's worth it to try.

  6. They gave me a straw in the hospital day after sleeve and been using one since no issues
  7. I have highmark also did 6 mo dr visits, nut, and physiologist. I was approved in 2 days after it was sent in. Best of luck to you.
  8. I'm walking not released to do anything else.
  9. But not been tracking carbs, I will watch but my dr diet guide line doesn't have calorie or carb intake that they would like at this point only protein and fluids.
  10. I'm on purée foods, but every morning I drink protein shake, and then usually 1/2 cup of refried beans or cottage cheese or something along those lines for lunch and dinner. Sometimes I finish sometimes don't. And drink all day, and feel like need snack usually sugar free pudding.
  11. I do track my food, and calories burned. I was 22.2 down and now at 21.4 so over last two days put a little less than a pound back on.
  12. I'm trying but it's so hard u go thru this painful major surgery and hope to see results. But I will re look at what I'm eating, and try to take in more water.
  13. 15 days out and two days in a row gained? Getting around 500-600 calories been active. So thought was time I should be losing the most? I'm very sad.
  14. Feel ya, been overweight my whole life. I'm ready to feel pretty but yet scared will always feel like that fat girl on the inside. I have lost 22lbs and see no difference.
  15. No regrets, I went in at 730 and woke up around 11. My doctor said on 45 on sleeve and 1hr and half on gallbladder. I am happy with my choice so far down 22.2 lbs and beside soreness in one spot I am healing well.
  16. Yes I'm 13 days post op and everything went perfectly also had gall bladder out.
  17. Don't be been under many times and they know what they are doing if u have faith in your drs not reason to be scared.
  18. U can see, my husband says he can't tell on me bc he sees me everyday but don't let it get u down.
  19. Yes if bend or twist and slightly tender to touch but doesn't hurt if sitting still.
