  1. #168 beby241977 - please dont say that - you will be fine - your thoughts become your words. Your words become your actions....actions become your habits. only positive thoughts!!!
  2. i decided to keep my circle of people small - it really is a personal decision - you will know what is the right thing to say. Just be comfortable with it
  3. DEFINATELY APPEAL!!! sorry for the caps - got a little excited there!
  4. Love this thread - i struggled with "what to say" also and then just decided to say "diet and exercise" - this is way too personal for me and i dont feel i need to tell people. Im embarrassed about my weight to begin with and dont want to have to answer the question of "well how big WERE you!!" - this will just make it worse. Only a handful of people know and that's it! For me, the less i say, the better off i am. Isnt it funny how, the more ammunition we give to people, the more they use it"? lol
  5. me!!! all done with testing - having 2nd consultation on monday and am hoping for a march 6th date!!
  6. you are all so inspirational! I love reading your responses - im hoping to set a march 6th surgery date (will know on Monday when i go for my 2nd consultation) - so of course im a little nervous about how i will feel after the surgery - someone said that "stairs" are out of the question - well my bedroom is downstairs and feeling nauseous is a concern. After reading these responses, i think i will be just fine!!!
  7. im hoping for march 6 - have 2nd consultation on monday the 18th - we will be setting a surgical date so i will know very soon - very excited - wish i was past the surgery too - just the "unknown" is what gets me a little crazy, but i know in my heart that this is the right thing for me to be doing.
