  7. I just got my sleeve last Monday but in anticipation of my new life I signed up for the Dirty Girl 5k and obstacle course coming up in August here where I live! I am excited to try something I have never been able to do before because of my weight! This sleeve does open doors

  9. I had surgery on Monday and when I stepped on my home scale this morning I was up 6 pounds . I haven't eaten much at all ! I hope it is just water retention from the IV drip and I will wake up tomorrow and it will be back down!!
  10. I am going to try not to worry!! But I sure hope this sleeve will work!! I am a lapband to sleeve revision and the lapband failed me so I am once bitten twice shy!!

  12. Things went well. I have a little pain because I drank to much of my protein drink when I got home!! But otherwise so far so good!!
  13. I am feeling pretty good and have been able to sip my liquids and protein shakes easily so far! I only stayed in the hospital one night! So glad to sleep in my own bed tonight!!
  14. Hi I am 44 years old and happily married to my sweetheart for 15 years now!! We have 4 children, 1 boy and 3 girls, 14,12,7 & 6. I was sleeved yesterday on march 25th! So excited to be on the losing side now!!
  15. Just had my surgery yesterday in Annapolis by Dr. Gandsas! So happy to be on the losers side now!!
  16. Yes Jeanette can be intense sometimes! I love Arienne too!! I was just sleeved yesterday and came home today!! Doing good so far! Pain is very manageable!! So glad to be on the losers side now!!
  17. Sleeved on Monday the 25th. Came home on the 26th. So far so good. Was able to finish a protein drink after coming home from the hospital this evening with little difficulty! I hope that is normal!! I am praying for success with this sleeve!!
  18. I am one day post op and I am easily sipping water and I finished an entire protein shake in 30 minutes with no problem. Is this normal? I am so afraid this is not going to work
  19. I have been doing weight watchers during my six month insurance required preop diet and I love the support I get there. I have decided to continue going after surgery as well! I haven't told anyone there that I am having weight loss surgery yet but I suppose I should soon!!
  20. It's official now!! Insurance has approved! March 27th will be here before I know it!! Woohoo!!
