  1. So glad to see everyone healing and taking there time. Please post all tips you have on getting the fluids in for all of us to be next...praying for everyone....
  2. Wow just two a few more days...had myself a dream last night about the surgery I remember a feeling of being tense I guess u can say about something but can't remember the dream at all. LoL...so I'm good today still..:-)

  5. I'm following mines (preop) to the letter, I want a pedi liver...lol... I did notice as I went on with the diet i was getting full much faster, so I just StoPpEd when I noticed it. Tues the 18th is my day, I'm feeling very positive still. I do know I StiLL eat to fast, and will be one that will have to learn with the surgery..:-)

  7. @ vermion i was on some thread others used a babyfood Warmer plate where u add hot or cold water in the bottom of the plate...i will check online again for myself since u mention this cause i had forgot...

  11. Well on day 11 of preop diet feeling good, have loss 12 more pounds. Cant wait till the 18th to have my surgery. And i totally agree that being used to dealing with chonic pain, and previous surgery b4, this surgery pain will not be a major issues to me, getting fluids is the issue up i will be dealing with up ..:-)
  12. @shewin....so u freeze it and like a popsicle?... Thats a gr8 idea....thx....my date will be tues the 18th...this is most helpful....:-)
  13. Have a popsicle question....do the popsicles melt b4 u finish them since u have to go slower, or do u just let them melt and use a spoon?
  14. Well guys in in the home stretch the 18th is so close....still doing well on preop. Yesterday my entery level was down, so I slept in late today and feeling just Fine again.
  15. @caaattt....thx so much...I have a mini goal....that's what I call them....to be 299 at surgery date the 18th...so I will post at my 17th weigh in where I'm at...:-)

  17. @ Jennie....I totally agree not wasting engery worring...I'm focusing on getting things ready, and monday I will take care of any loose ends early, then relax with family, turn in early for a good nights rest and up for my time on tuesday..:-)

  20. Day 9 preop...sooo ready for the 18th...weight in yesterday 305.5...at my preop class 317...start weight prior to 6 month nut classes 347....highest weight 349...feeling pretty good this morning reflecting...

  22. @mitz....I can relate, I will be 52 in July, and getting sleeved Tue the 18th. I'm so ready, and calm as I can be, I'm ready to live my life to the fullest and for me for a change, I laugh when u mention tie shoes, I go from side to side like a teedle tittle when I tie mines bows always on the sides...lol...but I can laught when I tied them this morning cause I can picture what you said..its good when we able to laugh about something we have control to change...thx
