  4. Hi I had my surgery on February 26, 2013. I am 5 ft 5.5 inches, I started at 220 lbs before preop diet and as of today I am 166 lbs. I went from a loose size 18 to an 8! My goal is 150...best think I ever did!
  5. Amazing! How long did it take?

  9. So, today is my 4 week anniversary. I am down 8 lbs preop and 12 lbs post op, which is 20 lbs total and leaves me at 200 lbs. I am happy considering my goal weight is 150...so I did have lower bmi. On the other hand , since surgery, I have had strep, cold and now sinus infection!!! Ugggh...those darn kids and their germs

  13. Yes..I lost 7 lbs the first week post op and then nothing week 2. , finallyy week three, now, the scaled has moved a few lbs. I will be 4 weeks on tues, so the week is not over yet. I realized I was not even enough calories so my body was in starvation mode. I was eating 500-800 calories and uped it to 1,000 calories and the scale moved. I am in full liquid phase, so shakes, yogurt, cream of wheat, pudding soup and crackers. Oh an I was constipated and took milk oh magnesium and that helped too. Hope it helps...hang it there:)
  14. Congrats!!!! Just curious are the 14 lbs lost include preop diet weight loss? Or was this your weight surgery day?
  15. So I went for my 3 week post op appointment and my surgeon told me I have to stay on full liquid phase for two more weeks!!! Pretty disappointed. Also, only lost 8.2 pound in the 3 weeks post op...I know my bmi is only 35 but still!!! Very frustrated. I am 5' 6" started at 220 and went down to 212 during preop diet and now I,m at 203.8 3 weeks post op. goal is 150 lbs ...anyone had similar experience and succeeded. Would love to hear
  16. Thanks so much for your support Houston support:)
  17. Thanks Houston 17....doc just said it was their standard procedure to stay clear liquids for 1week, and then 5 weeks full liquids and then soft foods after that. I just wish I was losing weight
