It is a "Secret" group. No one on your facebook friends list will be able to see anything in the group, that you're a member of the group, or that the group even exists. I haven't told most of the people on my friends list about my surgery. Most of our members are keeping their surgery relatively secret. If your concern is privacy, it's not an issue, because no one can see the group exists, anything in the group, or even if a person is a member of the group unless they are a member of the group themselves. And, in order to become a member of the group, you have to be approved by a moderator.

Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry about all this. I never got any of the e-mails from VST telling me that anyone was replying to this thread. I added all of you above ^^^. I'll go back through the thread right now and make sure I'm not missing anyone. If you didn't/don't get an invitation to join the group, please let me know. Sometimes facebook is glitchy with it.

I'm 23 days post-op today. Most of my left side pain is gone, but I still sleep with a pillow underneath the side I'm sleeping on for support. I also cuddled up next to a big, fluffy pillow so my arm has a place to rest without hanging down. It has helped tremendously. I've actually been sleeping that way since the day I was sleeved.

...but the nose clip would get in the way of my nose piercing. I'm so glad I still like the protein drinks I also drank pre-op. Happy for you that you found the secret! lol...

I'm only 17 days post-op but I've already noticed a difference. My cycle has gone from being 40+ days (sometimes over 120 days in length) to being 28 days long as of yesterday! I don't want to get too far ahead of myself and count it as a victory since I'm not even a month out yet, but I'm so, so excited to see that my body is doing something normal for a change. How far out are you?

I'm post-op day 17 today, and woke up with lots of pain on my left side. It's not unbearable, but it's an aching, nagging soreness that is getting on my dang nerves. If I sneeze, it hurts. Same if I cough or blow my nose. I haven't had this pain like this for several days now. I'm thinking I may have overdone it yesterday. I seem to remember chasing/being chased by my 2 year old son. Just curious as to when I can expect this pain to go away completely. For now, it's back to taking liquid Lortab. Bah.
