  2. The cotton mouth thing I totally have. I can tell when I need to up my water intake. I was sleeved 2/11
  3. Everyone is different. I've lost 18 pounds in 5 weeks.
  4. Oh that sounds like heaven to me! Giving up pop has been the hardest thing with my sleeve.

  6. I'm 5 weeks post op and can do toast. So far I've only tried those thin sandwich thins (100 calories for both sides, I can only eat 1 side).
  7. I was sleeved on February 11 and have lost 18 pounds since surgery. I thought I would have lost more by now but what I've learned from this forum is everyone is different. Good luck on Monday :-)

  9. I was sleeved on Feb 11 also and I haven't lost anything for almost 2 weeks. I haven't been quiet my surgery and people have said they can see my body changing. I keep trying to tell myself that. Also I'll be off my blood pressure drugs in about 3 weeks. That was one if my reason I did the surgery. I figure this is just a bump in the road. We can all get through :-)

  11. I am on birth control and got my period a week after surgery. I was told that your body is going thru so many changes that it can be normal. I had it for a week. If it would have been longer I was going to call my gynecologist.

  13. It will get better each day. The first day or two was hard because if the stomach pains but every day it got better.

  17. I went back to my desk job at the county exactly 2 weeks after surgery. The morning was ok as long as I had my protein shake right away. The afternoon I would get tired but I made it thru. Good luck, you can do this!!!!
  18. I'm in the same boat. Was supposed to start Monday but started today. My reasoning is I want to be home, not at work, in case I get sick. I figure 2 days isn't so bad. and if I get sick, I'll go back to liquids

  20. I'm 2 weeks and had that problem today, had to leave work. I've convinced myself its because I didn't have enough protein. We'll see tomorrow :-)

  23. it's so funny how each doctor is different. I was sleeved 2/11 and I have to do full liquids until 3 weeks before I start puréed. Is it sad I'm counting down the days to cream of wheat/malt o meal? lol
