  2. Hello my January 21st friends! Can you please tell me what a typical day of liquids, food and protein looks like for you? Quantities you are consuming and times of day. Thanks so much!

  4. You look great! How did you tone up your arms and stomach so well? Any pointers to share?
  5. I am one week out- and I too can eat an entire can of tomato soup, a full yogurt, full apple sauce. Do you think I am consuming too much? I also drink lots of propel, apple juice, Water and now milk. Any others similar?
  6. I should add I am 40 yr, was released from hospital on Thursday evening and have a desk job.
  7. My surgery was 1/21. I am taking off 2 weeks, using vacation days. If I had to return tomorrow (one week) I would be able to do so. The added week of rest will be helpful in healing. Pain and energy wise I could go back tomorrow.
  8. You look great! Have you been working out a ton? Congratulations!
  9. I will be returning to my desk job two weeks to the day of my surgery. I am using vacation days. I return in a week- and hope I am ready, mentally and physically. From what I've read each of us heals differently and in our own time. I keep telling myself it is major surgery. Good luck and happy healing to all! ????
  10. I had surgery 1/21 and don't sleep well at night either. Not from pain, nor nausea- I am finding I am just not sleeping. If I do sleep it's now in 1-2 hour increments, and up to use the bathroom with a loose gassy almost BM- but not a BM. Anyone experiencing that?
  11. I am 21st too! How are you all getting your Protein? Ideas?
  12. I was also sleeved on Monday. I had a morning of a few tears- I think it's fairly typical. Hang in there! I am looking forward to this journey with you and the others. All Best!
  13. Called my surgeon- on a Saturday night. He said I should be just fine. Needless to say I won't be chewing gum again. Thanks all!
  14. Thank you so much! Scary moment of panic.
  15. I accidentally just swallowed my gum- 5 days post op- should I be concerned? Call surgeon? I can't believe this just happened.
  16. Yes- I chose to keep private. Only my Mom and surgeon know.
  17. I am looking for a pain medication alternative. I bought the liquid children's Tylenol- however at my weight one dosage is almost half the bottle. Today I bought quick dissolve melt-a-ways junior strength Tylenol- I still need a large amount of them. Does anyone have a good suggestion to share? (I am 5 days post-op)
  18. Oops! Should read any good clear liquids you suggest?
  19. Hi! I had my surgery Monday and like you am hungry too. I have been staying busy which helps. And good clear liquids you are enjoying? I am getting tired of the broth, jello, water, G2 too! Hang in there!
