  1. Kaiser covers a tummy tuck, my dad lost weight a few years back using optifast and they completely paid for his tummy tuck.(a tummy tuck isn't the same as a panniculectomy)
  2. That makes me feel better, thanks for responding. I was starting to worry about having to be opened up
  3. He didnt put me on one either! I even asked about it and told him I had read others being on one and he said not to worry. Although I don't want the big scar, so I've started eating better but my surgery is 8 days away so I'm afraid I'm too late
  4. My surgeon told me if the liver was too fatty he wouldn't do it laparoscopic and he would instead make a long incision from your chest down your stomach, has any had this happen? I haven't seen any posts about it on here so I'm just curious
  5. My doctor didnt give me any diet to follow but he did say to try and lose weight

  8. Do you think I'd be okay to go to Vegas a month after the surgery? The trip is already paid for and it's for my best friends birthday but I'm wondering if I'll be able to handle it? All the walking and what not.

  13. My surgery isn't until the 21st but I almost have the exact same stats as you. I'm the same height but I weigh 298 and my goal is 150 too! Lets do this!

  16. I've read different threads but I can't really seem to figure what they do in a pre-op appt? I know they'll tell me the diet I'm supposed to be on before the surgery but do they do any tests?
