  1. I'm 4 weeks out as well. Great job on the weight loss! Keep up the good work.
  2. I'm one month as well and you are doing fantastic!! Congrats!
  3. It will get better but it can get so tough I actually cried. Egg drop soup was my "treat" because it didn't seem like diet food. Creamy soups were great for me as well. Hang in there and stay diligent. It WILL get better.
  4. I was told to stay under 1000 calories a day but I am also only 4'10" so that may have something to do with it. I'm 3 weeks out and doing about 700 a day.
  5. Yay! Good luck to you on your journey/adventure! It's a roller coaster ride for sure
  6. Hey! Can I get on that mailing list You guys are a riot!! Maybe now my husband will want to get sleeved!!
  7. I don't blame you! Purée was the worse!
  8. Congrats! Sounds like you are doing fantastic!! Keep up the good work! It is work
  9. You are definitely not alone. Don't be afraid to "talk" things out with a support group or on here. I'm 3 weeks out and my depression has gone up and down several times since then. I'm hoping it levels out the more my body gets use to this new situation. Hang tough, it will get better.
  10. Congrats! Yes, everything is completely normal and it gets a lot better every day. Stay strong!

I hope you find out what exactly is the problem and they can fix it quickly! It's terrible that we go through the surgery to feel better and healthier just to have something else mess us up!! Stay strong!
  12. I was told coffee is ok as long as it doesn't cause you to skip a nutritional meal. I also put in my protein drink instead of creamer so I save on sugars and fat.
  13. Rest in Peace! I will walk more in honor of him. Love and prayers to his family.
  14. Premier protein drinks from Costco and Sams club are really good. I like the chocolate. Others like the vanilla. So yummy and smooth.
  15. One weight loss dr I had several years ago had one and you step on these sensors on the machine barefoot and also hold some in your hands. From that it tells you your % of fat, Water, muscle, etc. Its pretty cool. Wish my surgeons office had one.
  16. My BMI when I had surgery was about 40-41 so this is the rate I had expected. Maybe at the next appointment I will ask for more clarification.
  17. Thanks everyone! This makes me feel better
  18. No they didn't but I wish they had. I get in all of my protein everyday too.
  19. At my two week post op appt the PA said I'm losing too fast and some of it must be muscle, which isn't good. I had lost 11# at that point. Anyway heard of this? I've never had to slow down my weight loss before!
  20. My leak test was while I was still under.
