  1. Tomorrow is my 2 month surgiversary and I still gurgle occasionally. Regarding the original post - If you are on liquids, thats probably not gas, its FULLNESS. And if you are like me, you probably never really experienced that sensation before your surgery. Listen to your body
  2. I've had a few M&M's a couple of times.......scared to death to touch wine but think about having some alcohol OFTEN!! Were you able to tolerate it well?

  4. reading all these non scale success stories tonight has really made me smile, thanks all for making my night!!!
  5. I havent tried salad yet, seems like it would take up too much tummy space without enough nutrition. Although a crisp salad sounds so good!!!
  6. Im eating about 700 cals a day now, sometimes 800 if I work out or really starving (RARE) Have you ever done Weight Watchers? I eat like I did on WW. In other words, low fat, low sugar, low sodium and of course HIGH PROTEIN! You really need to track your food, accountability is the key to success/ Feel free to friend me on MFP - melbogg
  7. hi 2 see me again- are you eating enough calories? I was sleeved on 11/21/12 and I have lost 39.5 lbs. I had the typical stall at 3-4 weeks, I increased my calories, protein and fluid and began to lose again

  13. Im originally from Dallas, recently moved to Wilmington DE - always a Dallas girl at heart Sleeved by Dr Scott Stowers in Decatur on 11/21/2012. 39 lbs down as of Jan 13.
  14. Luckily for me, the first couple of weeks post op, the smell of food made me very sick. I only wanted liquids and was scared I'd never want real food again. My body naturally craved things like yogurt and oatmeal during week 3, so healing & transition was easy. By week 4 I was ready for real food again - namely MEAT!! Now I listen to my body and let myself have what I crave, I just only eat1/4 to 1/2 cup now and my hubby finishes my plate
  15. Surgery 11/21/2012 I lost 30 lbs in my first 30 days. BOY was I excited!!!!. 2nd 30 days now and its only 8 lbs total. I used to torture myself with daily weighs and would cringe on the days the scale actually went UP! Now i try to weigh only every 2-3 days. I have also found the more I eat and the more I move, the more lbs I drop.
