  1. Sounds like u r dehydrated. Dehydration can cause an elevated heart rate. This something that can easily happen after surgery.
  2. I took off 3.5 weeks. I've been back for 2 weeks n i feel fine. I felt a little muscle soreness after the first 2 days but that was it.
  3. I was just telling a friend today that since my surgery I am always cold. I have always been on the warmer side.
  4. I'm so glad to see that stalls are normal. Sleeved on 12/19 down 27 pounds but have been stalled for almost 2 wks :-(
  5. What ur feeling is normal. Everyday it wil get easier. Just keep sipping. U don't want to get dehydrated!!!
  6. I'm from New Jersey. Was sleeved in the 19th. Feel great!!
  7. 4500?? That's awesome!!! I'm self pay as well but i had my procedure here in NJ. To late now. Lol. Good luck to u!! I'm 2 wks post op n feel great. Wish I would have done this sooner.
  8. I am self pay also. How much is the cost in mexico?? I never knew this was an option. I love this site. Lol
  9. Hi everyone. I have a question. What is the reason for having the surgery not in the states?? Just curious.
  10. It's treated with 2 different antibiotics and prilosec twice a day. Yes it is gone after treatment. My stomach is intact as well. I never had an ulcer or hernia. It's tested by taking a biopsy while doing the EGD. It's a very common bacteria. Yes it does contribute to stomach cancer if left untreated. After I treated it I had no more acid reflux.
  11. I had reflux before surgery and going out I had h pylori when I had my EGD done. That is a bacteria that causes ulcers n causes reflux. I treated that before surgery. I have has 3 incidents of reflux since surgery. They will give u Prilosec after surgery. It's great!!!!
  12. I'm am only 16 days post op and I have lost 26 pounds. I started at 260. The first 3 days suck. I am not going to lie. Not really pain but no energy. U just don't feel like moving. Day 4 I started to feel so much better. To answer ur question of I would really do it again, of course I wish I could of done this without surgery but I have tried so many times and failed. I. Would do great for a week and that would be it. This surgery prevents u from " cheating". I did not have any medical issues before the surgery. I did this strictly bc I wanted to look a d feel better and prevent any future issues. I am a nurse and I see the problems obesity causes all the time. This is not something that u can just jump into. It is also important to talk to a therapist a deal with any issues that may attribute to over eating. It's great that u r asking questions. I wish I saw this site a long time ago.
  13. Christy, the only thing I regret is not having the surgery sooner in life. Your new sized stomach will restrict u to eat " normal" sized portions. Good luck :-)
  14. I am 17 days post op and feel great!! Everyday U will feel better and better. Good luck :-)
