protein drink before or after
I've talked with my personal trainer before about this before and suggested healthy carbs before a workout and protien afterwards . Fuel to start your workout and protien afterwards for recovery. Seems to work for me..so i usually drink isopure afterwards in the glass bottles or a protien shake 40-60g of protien

Michigan - Grand Health Partners - Rave review
It's been so long, but i believe soft foods are next if your not already on them...Yogurts, cottage cheese...light things that are not heavy and litttle texture. Cottage cheese is my go to food...still 2 years later..easy to eat and high in protein. If you can also i recomend..Isopure also makes a smoothie...tastes better then the Clear liquids..and it's 32g of protein in a bottle

Jealous Friends
So before I got my surgery, Jan 18,2011 one of the nurses warned me about friend reactions. I was just wondering if other people had similar situations. My best friend who is just a little overweight...but who has always been way skinner then me 100lbs 150 lbs lighter then me...would bring up my surgery with other people. Some people we know but mostly new people, random strangers. For example we were out at a resturant...I didn't eat all my food and the waitress asked if my food was okay. She seemed like she kind of went out of her way to tell her that i had weight loss surgery. .. And there are other examples,I have some of her other friends and at some point my surgery always comes up ...Just find it odd when she puts my business out there to people i dont know.. Pointing out my flaws...Didn't see a topic on this so i thought i would start one...anyone else ??? I know shes proud but it feels like there's more to it

Treadmills- who actually uses them?
i love the treadmill...... I had one in the house when i was living at my moms...i would get on it...take a break...get on it take a break...get on it take break and so forth....But now that i have moved out i have a gym membership...I can only make it there about 3 times a week...I love to get out of the house and use it and other equipment..It's just not availble to my own convience..But no treadmill in my house means no Gym room that smells like a sweaty gym room ... lol leave it at the gym. Pros and Cons

I think I made mistake with having my sleeve...
Dont get discouraged... everything takes time, we all didn't gain weight overnight and it won't fall off that easy either unfortunately... Just stay motivated, follow their guidlines, drink lots of water, and start getting active. oh and stay POSITIVE

In 4 days i will be 2 years post-op :D pics
At my highest i wieghed about 415 lbs that i am aware of....When i started my process of getting the sleeve i came in at 395lbs and was considered super super morbid obese....I lost my first 100 about the first year out and the 2nd throughout the 2nd year out... I now weigh 203 lbs with a bmi of 30 ... I'm pretty tall and big boned and would be content with maybe another 20 but that's it if that at all...I eat about 1000 calories a day ..no liquid calories at all...NEVER drink with a meal...And try to make good choices high protien i shoot for 90grams a day less than 25 g of sugar. Also i try to stay super active..I run around all day long at my job and go to the gym 3-4 days a week..I do alot of cardio and strength training at least once a week.. I love the sleeve...I never knew what it was to really live until i was able to to do it through a healthy body...Kinda like i didn't know

Freaking myself out
If you have come to the point in your life where you feel that the surgery is needed vs. un-needed then why second guess yourself. Something has brought you to the point of " I need to loose this weight and can-not do it on my own for my overall healther". I never knew what it was to FEEL good and healthy until I got here because an unhealthy lifestyle was all i knew. I would never go back and never change my decision. It was worth it ...

In 4 days i will be 2 years post-op :D pics
As for loose skin it's not too bad...At my heaviest i weighed about 415 lbs so of course there is going to be some mainly due to the fact i would yo-yo 100 lbs down 150lbs up...prior to surgery. So i still have a little bit of a saggy belly...Not that bad..and a little flabby arms...Nothing I can't live with and nothing clothes can't cover up. I may later done the road get a tummy tuck or something but it hasn't bothered me bad enough to the point where i want to . It's not like i plan on putting on a 2 piece any time soon and strutting my stuff..lol i am healthy and happy that's all i need
