  2. I will be one month post op tomorrow and im scared to put anything solid into my new pouch because of leaks. I would defiantly stop eating anything that isn't pureed. You can look up signs of a leak id do believe you would become deathly ill but for your safety i would stop now and hope there's no damage. Possibly call your surgeon and tell him what you've done and follow his advice. Good luck to you.
  3. I'm 4 weeks today...What an inspiration. Congrats on an amazing job. Any suggestions to someone new to this?
  4. Thank you all for the great advice. I am gonna try to get more water and try eating on more of a schedule. I know this probably sounds crazy but im kind of afraid to eat because i don't want to stop losing. I'm still on a full liquid diet and haven't quite figured the whole eating thing out yet. I guess part of me is so used to failure with dieting and I just want so badly to succeed this time that im probably being to hard on myself.
  5. Hi Everyone, I had surgery on the 9th and im just not feeling very energetic. I lost 22 lbs my first week and at my appt had some blood work and everything looks great. I feel like i am letting myself down not exercising. When I go for the mail I have a semi long driveway and make two laps up and down and im exhausted. I do see improvement a lit bit each day but im not sure if this is normal or im not trying hard enough????? Thanks for any input you can give.

  7. I had surgery on the Wednesday last week from a very respectable bariatric team and have none either. I did see them mentioned but not even sure what it is. Possibly new/ different method. Don't worry or i would have to..lol..
  8. Hi had my surgery Wednesday and started with a sore throat on Monday evening. I was so upset when i woke up tuesday and could barely speak. I called the surgeon prepared for the worse but he told me as long as i didn't have a fever I was fine. Surgery done and home resting. there still may be hope..Good Luck to you.
  9. LOL..I have spent the entire day organizing and cleaning so that everything is in order when i get home. I'm gonna call it nervous excitement. Your right the 9th cant get here soon enough.
  10. Got the call last night my insurance was approved Day 2 of pre op diet and i knew it would be hard and it is. I did day one without cheating and i plan on day 2 being difficult but achievable.
