  1. Tuna with a tiny bit of mayo and pickles. Trust me, sounds horrible. Tastes great. Super low cal and super high protein.
  2. I started salads at about 3 months, never had any difficulty with them.
  3. Great post. I'm a year and a half out and what you say is sooo true. I'm glad I was in therapy after my surgery and I'm glad I worked as hard as I did to change how I think about and treat my body. But that said, I still wish I would have worked harder - patterns are hard to kill. I keep fluctuating 10 lbs up from my goal, then get serious and bring it back down. I want to get consistent.
  4. I still buy Quest bars from Amazon. Averages about $2 bar but good selection available and can get variety packs.
  5. This thread is a good reminder to stay actively engaged in eating healthy, even years out. It's not easy. Our patterns persist, but hopefully we're better at taking control when needed.
  6. Thank you for the tall shopping tips! Appreciate it!
  7. It may have been a typo, and you meant menopause - but manpause is so ironically funny! Made my day. (and I do hope things are better for you!)
  8. Agree! Therapy during the sleeve journey is so smart. You're going through so many changers on so many different levels, be good to yourself.
  9. So, tall friends - what are your favorite places to shop for tall pants and jeans? Anyone know where to find Ana jeans? JC Penney isn't stocking the tall sizes anymore and I looooved those jeans and how they fit!
  10. 6' tall, size 10/12 is perfect for me now I'm at goal. What a nice change from size 22/24.....!
  11. Quest bars. Tons of protein, most 200 calories or less, low sugars, high fiber. I'm a year and 3 months out and still often have them for a breakfast or lunch. Delicious and one is filling enough. Coconut is my favorite, but even the peanut butter and jelly ones are amazing. Best prices by the box are on amazon.
  12. When you go back and visit your surgeon a year later and even HE almost can't believe I'm the same person.
  13. I'm 6'0", started at 266, 14 months out now and maintaining at 172-176. Size 10. Feeling good at this size.
  14. I'm 6'0", started at 266, 14 months out now and maintaining at 172-176. Size 10. Feeling good at this size.
  15. I'm nearly to goal and had a great experience with being sleeved by Dr Q in Tijuana last January. Now thinking about tightening things up a bit. Would love to hear from anyone who has done it.
  16. I had surgery from Dr Q Jan 28, 2013. Excellent experience, zero complications. Have lost 90 lbs. nearly to goal now. NO REGRETS!
